UFC President Dana White says the WWE Network devalues WWE's product and the UFC won't be following suit.
According to FOX Sports, Dana discussed the WWE Network at a luncheon this week:
"It's ridiculous. I hate to sound like I'm attacking the WWE or (I) devalue what they did because Vince McMahon, say whatever you want -- and he's always smashing us and talking s—t about us, but I will tell you this, I was watching WWE I was a little kid and Vince was the commentator in WWE -- this guy has been kicking ass, breaking rules and doing things that people said he couldn’t do over and over and over again. Now I'm older I don't get the whole thing, it doesn't work for me, but what he's able to do, the ratings he's able to pull and the things he's done ... And when I look at his model and he's basically taking everything in and devalued it. Saying everything we do is worth $10. That doesn't make sense to me," White said during a media luncheon on Monday."
"If he pulls in 2 million subscribers, he's crushing it. So it's a risky move, it's a crazy move, but Vince has been doing risky, crazy s—t since the beginning of time. If anybody can do it, maybe Vince can do it."

Another question has been revealed for the WWE Countdown show on the WWE Network. This time, WWE wants to know who is the most magnificent manager in history. The options are:
* Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
* Jimmy Hart
* Capt. Lou Albano
* J.J. Dillon
* Sensational Sherri
* "Classy" Freddie Blassie
* Miss Elizabeth
* Paul Bearer
* Paul Heyman
* Mr. FujiZitat- While the official WWE Network launch will happen on February 24th right when RAW goes off the air that night, fans will actually be able to start signing up, logging in and viewing content that morning at 9am EST.
Zitat- We've noted before that a disclaimer will appear before any Chris Benoit match on the WWE Network. The disclaimer will likely just say something about how these are sports entertainment characters and won't directly mention the Benoit family tragedy.

WWE made the decision to include the 1999 Over the Edge PPV on their Network "within the past two weeks," according to a report by CBS Pittsburgh affiliate KDKA.
The PPV included Owen Hart plunging to his death when a stunt entrance went wrong. WWE says portions of the PPV will be edited when released on the Network 15 years later.
WWE said in a statement to KDKA: “WWE Network will be airing the 1999 Over The Edge pay-per-view. However, portions of the event will be edited out of respect for Owen Hart.”
WWE executive Stephanie McMahon told KDKA prior to the Royal Rumble PPV in Pittsburgh that WWE had not yet made a decision on Over the Edge.
However, WWE already made the decision to include Chris Benoit matches, prefaced by a disclaimer.
“They are incredible challenging decisions to make,” McMahon told KDKA. “At the end of the day, we try to do what’s right for our fans and we try to give them exactly what they want to see.”
Perhaps foreshadowing these types of decisions, WWE CEO Vince McMahon addressed the topic of how to acknowledge Benoit's WWE history without drawing attention to him in a September 2009 WWE Magazine interview.
"It's not right to pretend he didn't exist. It's one thing to include him as part of a historical perspective, which I believe is okay, and it's another thing to promote him, which is not okay," McMahon said in 2009. "The situation is very similar to that of O.J. Simpson - despite his controversy, O.J. was still a part of the NFL scene. You can't deny that he existed."

Regarding Chris Benoit content on the WWE Network, word is that he will only be featured on existing and complete shows. There are no plans to include Benoit in any newly produced "compilation" material.

One of the top email questions we have received today is whether Dish Network has dropped WWE PPV.
The basis for the emails have been that this Sunday's Elimination Chamber PPV is not listed on the upcoming PPV events section of Dish's website. It is not listed on the main page, nor is it listed in a wrestling section that currently only features TNA's March Lockdown PPV.
Three different readers have contacted PWInsider.com to state that the PPV is not listed on the Dish TV channel guide for 2/23, either. When I asked subscribers who currently use Dish as their provider if that was accurate, several of them responded that it was.
I called Dish's customer service this evening and was told, after being placed on hold three times, that they had the PPV listed internally. When I asked why it wasn't listed as available to order to their subscribers, they did not have a straight answer and advised me to call back tomorrow.
PWInsider.com also reached out to WWE regarding the situation, but as of this writing, have not received a response. Given that it was late Sunday when we reached out to them, that is completely understandable.
Obviously, with the advent of the WWE Network, there has been concern among PPV providers about WWE offering the same content cheaper via The Network then the contractually agreed upon price point. That has led to providers discussing the idea of dropping WWE PPVs, something DirecTV acknowledged publicly.
The Network launches the day after the Elimination Chamber PPV, so we'll see whether this was a preemptive strike or a clerical error by Dish Network soon enough.

Regarding multiple users using WWE Network accounts at the same time, a WWE representative told that they will allow 2 viewers at a time, per account. Netflix began offering multiple profiles per account last year.
