Christopher Daniels spricht über sein Match gegen AJ Styles, seine Zukunft bei TNA uvm.

  • Christopher Daniels gab der Ottawa Sun gestern ein Interview, um Bound For Glory zu bewerben. Darin sprach er u.a. über sein Match gegen AJ Styles, sein Alter, seinen Wrestlingstyle und seine Zukunft bei TNA.

    Christopher Daniels ...

über sein I Quit Match gegen AJ Styles:
"AJ and I have great chemistry. The number of times we've been in the ring together ... it could be more than 100. For a while, it seemed like every promoter wanted to put us together. We go into it hoping to have a quality match. The personal challenge for us is to make it memorable. He and I have the same sensibility of what we want to get done in the ring. We just complement each other. We've got that chemistry that you maybe find once or twice in a career. I think the match has the potential to steal the show."

    über seinen Wrestlingstyle:
"When I first started training, Shawn Michaels was somebody I emulated. He wasn't a bigger guy. I was about 180 lbs. and 20 years ago it would have meant I wouldn't have been in the business. But guys like Michaels and Sean Waltman (paved the way)."

    über sein Alter:
"I haven't put a time limit on it. But I'm close to being in the best shape of my career. Despite being in it for 18 years, I feel like I'm putting on pretty good matches. I've always said I'll stop when I stop having fun."

    über seine Zukunft bei TNA:
"I'm comfortable working with any style. And if I'm fortunate enough to get into something with a Bobby Roode or a James Storm, or guys like Kurt Angle, that would be great. But whatever TNA puts in front of me, I'm good with it."
