- Der frühere WWE Superstar Batista hat in einem Interview mit "The Daily Star", wo er den Film "The Scorpion King 3" bewarb, neben seiner anstehenden MMA Karriere auch über die WWE gesprochen. So antwortete Batista, dass er die Shows der WWE aktuell so grausam finden würde, dass er es nicht fertig bringt, sich diese Shows anzutun. Schuld daran soll laut Batista einzig die aktuelle PG Ausrichtung der Promotion sein: "It’s brutal. I can’t watch it. I can’t connect with it. I no longer know this business. I don’t do PG wrestling." Außerdem sprach er noch über The Miz und die anderen heutigen WWE Superstars: "Love me or hate me, when I was there everyone took one look at me and knew I could beat someone up. I don’t think they look at Miz that way. It’s sad. It’s not their fault. These days the guys have their hands tied, they are so limited in what they can do. The difference is that guys like Rock, Austin, Triple H, excuse me, but they had to have the living sh*t beat out of them to get where they are. They went through war and the audience knows it and the audience appreciates it. The guys today will never get to that level. It’s sad, but that’s the reason for it."
- WWE Hall Of Famer Bret "Hitman" Hart hat bei Vezzy Parmesan von Hot 106 in Providence, RI über das aktuelle WWE Produkt gesprochen und es hart kritisiert. So soll er sehr frustriert über die Verwendung vieler Wrestler sein, obwohl deren Leistungen sich seiner Meinung nach auf einem großartigen Level bewegen: "I think the wrestlers that out there today are excellent! But, I will say that they all look cookie-cutter and look the same! I think the problem isn't the wrestlers, it's the office! They're not doing a good enough job! Sometimes I can pull my hair out watching the TV going! They have so much great talent, but the shows are the same every week! I'm so sick of all the characters they got!"
