"ECW: UNRELEASED - Volume 1" DVD & Blu-ray Set erscheint im Juni 2012 | Line-Up bekannt

Wie WWEDVDNews berichtet, wird die WWE im Juni 2012 ein 3 DVD Set & 2 Blu-ray Disc Set namens "WWE: Biggest Matches in ECW History" auf den Markt bringen. Hierzu wurde nun der offizielle Werbetext veröffentlicht:

"All new 3 DVD set, collecting The 25 greatest matches in ECW History! Extreme Championship Wrestling ran from 1992 to 2001, founded in Philadelphia. Their weekly TV show ‘Hardcore TV’, ran from 1993-2000, and they also ran 21 Pay-Per-View events from 1997-2001.

ECW was known for its hardcore and irreverent style, and it’s rowdy and raucous audiences. It launched Sports Entertainment legends such as Paul Heyman, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, Taz, Terry Funk, Sabu, Rob Van Dam, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, Cactus Jack, Raven and more."

Wie WWEDVDNews berichtet, hat die WWE beim geplanten ECW DVD & Blu-ray Set, welches im Juni 2012 veröffentlicht werden sollte, eine gravierende Änderung vorgenommen und den Titel des Sets von "WWE: Biggest Matches in ECW History" in "ECW: UNRELEASED – Volume 1" geändert.

So werden fortan nicht mehr die größten Matches der ECW Geschichte auf dem Set zu finden sein, sondern unveröffentliche ECW Matches aus dem Extreme Championship Wrestling Archiv, von denen mehrere ECW Sets veröffentlicht werden sollen.

"Sensational, Shocking and Over-The-Top!, the set is billed as featuring never before released matches in ECW history. It will be hosted by “the voice” of ECW, Joey Styles. Speaking of Joey, he’s confirmed via Twitter that this release will include only original ECW footage."
