    - Jeremy Borash announced before Friday night's TNA Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando that they did not know when the company will return to Universal Studios for more tapings. Dixie Carter confirmed this on her Twitter. She wrote that they were "headed to NYC for a while" and have "nothing on the books for Universal now."


    With last night's tapings, TNA is currently taped through the June 12th Impact before Slammiversary. They will run a live Impact on June 19th from Bethlehem, PA. They will also tape more that Impact night and tape another set of episodes from Bethlehem on June 20th. That should have them taped through July 10th. The June 25th, June 26th and June 27th tapings in New York City should carry them through July and early August, depending on how many more One Night Only pay-per-view tapings they have planned.


    The next set of tapings after that are rumored for New York City in August but not yet officially announced. The next pay-per-view isn't until Bound For Glory, some time in October.

    - TNA will tape two One Night Only pay-per-views today in Orlando. The theme for the 1pm taping is rumored to be Victory Road but the 7pm taping is confirmed to be an all-Knockouts show. Join us later for spoilers from both events.


    Names expected to appear at the Knockouts event include indie stars Mia Yim, Scarlett Bordeaux and Jessicka Havok. Taryn Terrell and Brooke Tessmacher are also expected to return. It's being reported that Tara (Lisa Marie Varon) will be making a one-night return to TNA for the event but that's not confirmed yet.

    - We noted before that TNA has no future dates scheduled for Universal Studios. Word is that the Sound Stage TNA uses is booked through September so they will have to tape on the road until October. Obviously taping on the road is a lot more expensive for the company.

    - In addition to working in the dance group Purrfect Angels with Christy Hemme and being a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, new TNA Knockout Tanea "Rebel" Brooks competed on the Lingerie Football League's New York Euphoria team about 10 years ago. She has also done modeling, acting and appeared in a Trace Adkins music video. Hemme and WWE Diva Summer Rae also played in the Lingerie Football League.

    - TNA is being replaced by Ring of Honor at the Brooklyn Cyclone's annual wrestling event at MCU Field in Brooklyn. This year's event takes place on August 15th. It has been a packed event for TNA in recent years. The event in 2010 broke set a new TNA attendance record in the United States with just under 5,550 fans.

    - Abyss has now held the TNA Television for one year as of this week. The title hasn't been mentioned on TNA TV in a while but he is still listed as champion on TNA's website. Abyss won the title from Devon back at the Slammiversary pay-per-view on June 2nd, 2013 and it hasn't been used since.

    - TNA's French announce team, Célian Varini and Gregory Deas, will be at ringside for next Sunday's Slammiversary pay-per-view from Texas. The show will air live at 2am in France.

    - It appears The Menagerie will be in action at next Sunday's TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view Dallas, even though they haven't been announced yet. TNA's press release on The Von Erich Family last week mentioned that Rebel (Tanea Brooks) would be there. As we've noted before, Rebel is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

It's worth noting that you can go on social media on any Thursday and see many fans talking about picking NXT over TNA as they air head to head.

    - Jeremy Borash has been doing promotional work for TNA in the UK and was asked on the v2 Wrestling podcast what he would change if he ran TNA. Borash replied:


    "Move it to London. The fan base is a huge missed opportunity. The production in the U.K. is miles ahead of anything that is in the U.S., and I have no idea why, but I am a huge fan of the production values over here. I would use that production, and take advantage of how passionate the crowd is."

    - Morale was up thanks to a strong crowd at TNA's Slammiversary pay-per-view in Dallas at the College Park Center last Sunday. Morale had been down after the stadium shows that drew poorly last week. John Gaburick reportedly gave the roster a pep talk before Slammiversary. Slammiversary drew over 3,500 fans and that was not a papered crowd.

    - The TNA live event on June 29th in Lakewood, New Jersey drew 1,000 fans.

    - It's worth noting that The Great Muta's Wrestle-1 promotion ran Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan on June 27th and drew 750 fans. This is the same legendary arena that Wrestle-1 and TNA will be running Bound For Glory from.

    - Regarding Sanada working with TNA, they are essentially getting him for free as Wrestle-1 sent him there and is paying him only his regular salary. We've noted before how the idea is that working for TNA and holding the X Division Title will make Sanada a bigger star in Japan.


    It was believed that Sanada was returning to Japan full-time before the year was over but there's been talk of signing him to a joint contract where he would work primarily for TNA but go back to Japan for big shows. This would mean that he has to be somewhat protected in TNA's storylines if he's going to remain a big star in Japan. The Great Muta sees Sanada as a future top guy of Wrestle-1.

    - TNA is hyping a major announcement in London later this month. It's confirmed to be a new TNA TV series that will air in the British market.

    - Former two-time TNA X Division Champion Petey Williams announced his retirement from pro wrestling last night on Twitter. Williams was signed by TNA in 2004 and stayed with them until late 2009, making a few appearances since then.


    Petey's last match will come against another former TNA star, Chris Sabin, at a XICW event in Clinton Township, MI on Saturday. Petey wrote on Twitter:


    "This Saturday at @XICWDetroit its my last wrestling match. Stop by if you are in the area."

    - Several TNA stars worked the Wrestle-1 event in Japan yesterday. The Wolves retained the TNA Tag Team Titles over Minoru & Koji Kanemoto, Tajiri & Yusude Kodama defeated Rockstar Spud & Ethan Carter III and The Great Muta defeated Sanada in the main event.


    They apparently did an angle where Sanada teased he was leaving Wrestle-1, likely playing into upcoming storylines in TNA. During the tag match, Kaz Hayashi and Shuji Kondo were on commentary and teased a match with The Wolves after a post-match altercation. These could be potential Bound For Glory angles.

    - Matt Hardy's final date with Ring of Honor was this past saturday. Hardy had been booked on future dates but ROH officials weren't happy about him working TNA's recent New York City tapings. The competition between ROH and TNA continues as TNA has been calling up ROH talents without contracts and both are now pay-per-view promotions. ROH is on a strict budget from parent company Sinclair Broadcasting so a big talent bidding war is unlikely. TNA has been in hot pursuit of Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish, known as reDRagon. Their ROH contracts expired and TNA wants them to come in and work a feud with The Wolves.

    - AJ Styles appeared on Wrestling Observer Radio last week and noted that while working with New Japan Pro Wrestling, he's already made more in 2014 than he would have for all of 2014 on the deal that TNA offered him to stay.


    He added that he will come close to what he made with TNA in 2013. Style's previous TNA deal saw him bring in around $350,000 but the deal he turned down would have ended up at just over $200,000.
