- Mick Foley posted the above video tonight discussing his thoughts on CM Punk leaving WWE. Foley says he's known Punk has been frustrated for some time so it's not surprising. Foley says Punk's honesty has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and he has people that don't like him. Foley says the sky should have been the limit for Punk but it hasn't been. Foley says he disagrees with some of the stuff WWE has booked Punk in. Punk told Foley before, "Once I'm done, I'm done."
Foley says he plans on talking to Punk and advising him to go back. Foley mentions that he would love to see Punk vs. Triple H at WrestleMania XXX. Foley wishes Punk would come back and give a few classic matches before his contract expires.
Zitat- Many people within WWE are said to be "not unhappy" that CM Punk is gone. There has been a lot of negativity towards Punk from various people that work behind-the-scenes in WWE.
We noted before that Vince McMahon is handling the Punk situation. Vince wants Punk to stay because he feels there aren't many top Superstars on the roster right now.
Regarding Punk being unhappy about facing Triple H at WrestleMania XXX, Punk knew his contract expires in July and with people not expecting him to re-sign, he likely knew the direction that the match would go.
Zitat- CM Punk is still scheduled to appear on the February 12th episode of Comedy Central's @midnight show. The Miz was also scheduled for the same episode but was removed a few days ago when the show updated their guest list.
