We reported in late June that the couple had broken up, only to get back together days later. More information has come to light. With each passing day, they seem to create more headlines

According to a recent report by PWInsider, a reader known as Victoria Gonzales sent in a video that depicted WWE’s Paige and Alberto El Patron, the current GFW World Champion, together in public for the very first time since their highly publicised airport incident.

Paige and El Patron have been quite the controversial couple over the past couple of years. They recently hit the headlines after it was alleged that El Patron became aggressive towards Paige in an incident that was described as a “domestic violence battery” by the Orlando Police that dealt with the situation. Despite this, no arrests were made at the time. Since then, Paige has been publically defending El Patron, despite members of her family openly stating that they are worried for her and concerned about the relationship.

It is strongly rumoured that Victoria Gonzales is actually Paige and that she sent this information to PWInsider to ensure that the public image of her and El Patron’s relationship is not damaged any further. For the first time since their airport bust up, Paige and El Patron were seen at a local football match in San Antonio, Texas. Currently, Alberto is suspended by GFW as a result of Orlando Police launching an investigation against him for suspected domestic violence.

Here is the video of Paige and Alberto together. It looks suspicious because Paige clearly knows she’s being filmed, even looking a the camera once:

In a further bid to protect their public image, Paige has stated that she was the aggressor in the situation and that there was nothing untoward occurring. This seems rather unlikely, however, because eyewitnesses appear to have a different version of what went on at the airport as well as the fact that Orlando Police have stated that El Patron is the only person under investigation and not Paige.

It’s very difficult to tell how this developing story will unfold. In all likelihood, there will continue to be a host of conflicting stories concerning the situation, due to Paige wanting to defend her boyfriend and the fact that barely any of the details regarding the situation have been officially confirmed.

As Orlando Police progress with their investigations, there will undoubtedly be new information on the subject in the near future. Paige and El Patron are both frequently in the public eye, and unfortunately for them, this story is not about to die down anytime soon.

Paige's Family's Promotion Strips Alberto El Patron Of Their Title, Doesn't Mention Him In Statement

Alberto El Patron has been stripped of the WAW Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship. The title is the top belt of the World Association of Wrestling, which is owned by Ricky Knight, the real-life father of El Patron's girlfriend Paige.

It's of note that Alberto isn't even mentioned in the statement. This comes more than a week after an incident between El Patron and Paige at the Orlando International Airport.

Paige's brother, Zak, stated on Facebook he's worried about his sister and accused El Patron of domestic battery. El Patron is currently suspended indefinitely from Global Force Wrestling.

While no criminal charges have been filed, Alberto El Patron was detained by police just over one week ago at the Orlando International Airport. There have been varying accounts of what happened but recordings released by TMZ seem to indicate some type of domestic incident.

A witness told Heavy.com that the couple were arguing on the airport tram system, with Paige screaming at El Patron that he had been doing cocaine for "two days straight" and she called him abusive. There were also claims El Patron smelled like alcohol.

Police Suggest Paige Be Charged With Battery Over Airport Incident, State Attorney Reviewing Case

Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed that police have determined Paige should be charged with battery in regards to the airport incident involving Alberto El Patron … but it’s up to the State Attorney’s office to make a final decision.

A rep for the Orlando PD tells us, “OPD detectives have found that probable cause exists to charge Saraya Bevis with Battery (Domestic Violence). Detectives have sent the information to the State Attorney’s Office for review and the SAO will determine whether to file charges in the case.”

As we previously reported, Paige claimed that she was the one being held for battery at the airport — but police had previously stated Alberto El Patron was the only person being investigated.

Despite this update, we’re told the investigation into Alberto is not complete.

Alberto El Patron No Longer A Suspect In Paige Airport Altercation Investigation

GFW Global Champion Alberto El Patron is no longer under investigation by police over the airport altercation earlier this month between he and Paige … Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed.

A rep for the Orlando PD tells us that due to the detective’s investigation determining that Paige is the one who should be charged for domestic violence, they no longer view El Patron as a suspect.

As we previously reported, police believe Paige should be charged with battery. The State Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing the case before a final decision is made.

Alberto was suspended indefinitely by GFW after the incident was made public. We’ve reached out to the company to see if the suspension will now be lifted.

Safe to say Paige was telling the truth about what happened.

Report: WWE To Release Paige If She Faces Battery Charges From Airport Incident

Paige's recent airport incident with Alberto El Patron could end up affecting the WWE Superstar on a number of levels.

As noted earlier this week, the folks at Pro Wrestling Sheet are reporting that Paige, real name Saraya Bevis, could wind up facing battery charges as a result of the highly-publicized incident.

"OPD detectives have found that probable cause exists to charge Saraya Bevis (Paige) with battery. Detectives have sent the information to the State Attorney’s Office for review and the SAO will determine whether to file charges in the case."

In the past year, Paige has dealt with a number of issues that have affected her WWE career, including two Wellness Policy violations and subsequent suspensions, the infamous sex tape leak, attending GFW shows in a mask and being part of a number of situations where she, or El Patron, spoke bad about the company and its' prominent management figures.

If the former Total Divas cast-member does, in fact, face battery charges as a result of her airport incident with El Patron, it could spell the end of her WWE career.

The current WWE policy would call for her contract with the company to be terminated. The policy that applies to this situation reads as follows:

"WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated."

Arrest Warrant Issued For Paige Following Airport Incident

Pro Wrestling Times has confirmed that the State Attorney's office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit has made the final decision to file battery charges against Paige in regards to the airport incident involving Alberto El Patron. As previously reported, police determined that probable cause exists to charge Paige with battery, and that detectives sent the information to the State Attorney's office, where it would be determined whether or not charges would be filed.

A rep for the Orlando PD tells us that they informed the San Antonio PD of this, who in response, issued a warrant for her arrest, where charges will officially be brought against her. We were also told the investigation into Alberto is still not complete. Alberto El Patron wrestled in Monterey, Mexico this past weekend and Paige went along with him, and it is unknown if the couple has since returned to the United States. We reached out to Paige's rep -- so far, no word back.

Per WWE’s domestic violence policy, this impending arrest will result in Paige being suspended indefinitely. However, she will be fired from WWE if she happens to be convicted of any of the charges brought up against her.

There are reports on an arrest warrant being issued for Paige over the recent domestic incident with Alberto El Patron but as far as we can tell, these are incorrect reports stemming from a third-party article posted to the MSN website. As of this writing, there is no record of an arrest warrant for Paige on the Wanted Persons section of the Florida Crime Information Center website.

We noted earlier how Paige took to Twitter to dismiss the "internet rumor mill" and it appears this is what she was referring to.

Update On If Alberto El Patron Is Still Suspended By GFW

Bruce Prichard and GFW Creative Consultant Dutch Mantel took part in a media conference call today. During the call, WrestlingINC asked Mantel if Alberto El Patron is still suspended from the company following El Patron no longer being a suspect in his incident with Paige at the Orlando airport earlier this month.

Mantel noted that El Patron was not a suspect, and as far as he knows, the Orlando Police Department would not be charging him. Despite that, Mantel said that El Patron is still currently on suspension while the company continues their own internal investigation.

"We're doing an internal review of it because it's something we don't take lightly," Mantel said. "When that's completed, we will release our findings."

GFW suspended El Patron on July 12th, days after news of El Patron's domestic dispute with Paige went public. El Patron remains the central focus of current GFW programming, which was taped earlier this month before the altercation.
