GFW announce their own streaming network in their latest attempt to copy WWE.
Global Force Wrestling announced a streaming service on this week's broadcast of Impact Wrestling.
Global Force Wrestling was founded by Jeff and Jerry Jarret in 2002, under the banner of NWA [National Wrestling Alliance] and was known as Total Nonstop Action. It was taken over by Anthem Sports and Entertainment earlier in 2017 and became known instead as Impact Wrestling, until the time they acquired the original Global Force Wrestling. Since then it has assumed the name of GFW and has had a relationship with ITV, their partner in the United Kingdom for broadcasting.
Global Force Wrestling now have announced that they will soon launch Global Wrestling Network, their own over-the-top streaming service which will be available worldwide on multiple platforms. The platform will have the Impact Wrestling episodes available for free as well as other features.
GFW also announced that "sooner rather than later" they will be returning to television in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
