“The Power of Love” is even stronger with Maria and Mike Kanellis now … because they’ve just announced they’re having a baby!
Maria posted a recent ultrasound photo on Instagram earlier today to make the announcement, confirming that she’s 13 weeks along.
The First Lady of WWE posted, “This is the universe’s plan for us. Last year Mike and I tried to expand our family when we had a lighter schedule and this year we thought we had put those plans on hold but apparently that is not what is meant to be and we are so happy for our new path.”
Maria then confirmed that she’ll be taking time off from WWE during her pregnancy, but plans on coming back once she gets approval from her doctor.
The post concluded with, “Haha… life is messy. My husband is a recovering prescription drug addict, we are in the middle of buying a house, we are moving across county, and I’m pregnant!!! I figure I can either stress or feel blessed. I feel blessed.”
Congratulations to Maria and Mike!

Vince McMahon's plan remains Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 and as seen on WWE No Mercy 2017, both guys went over strong in their matches. Braun Strowman ended up being just another guy in Lesnar's path on his way to Reigns. Despite how much momentum Braun Strowman has picked up over the past few months, WWE officials did not change the finish to last night's match with WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at No Mercy. When WWE first planned the match several months ago, the plan was for Lesnar to retain, according to F4Wonline.com. Braun vs. Brock was just another stop on the Road to WrestleMania 34, where the plan has always been for Roman Reigns to go over Lesnar as WWE continues to try and make Reigns the top star in the company. Reigns' win over John Cena last night was another part of the same story.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the original idea was for Lesnar to then end up facing both Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, however, Rollins appears out for the time being since he's reunited with Dean Ambrose. Meltzer speculated that "when Brock Lesnar comes back" at either Survivor Series or even Royal Rumble, it might be in a match against Balor especially since Finn beat Bray Wyatt again.
WWE's idea when they had Braun Strowman attack Enzo on Raw last week was to try and generate heel heat for Strowman due to the fact that Enzo remains one of the company's most popular wrestlers. However, the opposite happened as the fans pretty much decided that Strowman is more popular by turning on Enzo.
