ZitatAlles anzeigenWWE News: John Cena's return much sooner than expected
After John Cena's loss to Roman Reigns at No Mercy most thought Cena was taking a very long break. If they thought that, they'd be wrong.
John Cena experienced a pretty big loss to Roman Reigns at No Mercy. The idea behind Cena's loss in Los Angeles was to put Roman Reigns over as the new face of WWE so Cena could take a hiatus. But The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports there are actually plans for Super Cena to be back in no time.
John Cena and Roman Reigns had a pretty good match at No Mercy. Their twenty-two-minute encounter saw The Big Dog kicking out after four Attitude Adjustments and winning after a devastating spear.
After the match was over Cena sat in the ring for a moment to think about what he had just done. He received plenty of "thank you, Cena" chants and gave off an appearance that he was taking a hiatus from WWE.
Cena's emotional speech on Raw Talk following the No Mercy PPV also gave off the impression he was leaving for a while and the following night on Raw they brought up his hiatus on a couple occasions.
John Cena is a very busy guy but he made it very clear he was not retiring from WWE. He is receiving plenty of offers from Hollywood and other areas of the entertainment business. But The Wrestling Observer Newsletters reports the plans are for John Cena to be back at Survivor Series.
A November return for Cena is certainly earlier than most fans expected as he would only be missing one PPV, TLC.
John Cena is taking a break after No Mercy in order to film a movie and there will be many more of those extracurricular opportunities for Cena to come.
But if WWE keeps running the same kind of "I'm not retiring, but things are changing for me" angle with Cena everytime he leaves to do another project it could get boring.

UK wrestling veteran Johnny Moss is set to move to Florida in mid-October to begin working full-time as a coach at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Moss spent time at the PC in the summer of 2016 as a guest coach.
Moss, who runs a wrestling school in the UK, commented to The News & Star about landing his dream job:
"This is a lifelong dream fulfilled. I've been obsessed with wrestling since I was eight – it's all I ever wanted to do - and to be offered this job with WWE is beyond anything I could ever have hoped for."
It was noted that Moss will report to Triple H, William Regal and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels at the Performance Center with his time being split between training talents at the facility and working with them at live events.
Moss, who trained Finn Balor and Killian Dain among others in the past, will leave his School of Hard Knocks & Hammerlocks in the hands of protege Josh Terry but he will also keep a close eye on things from Florida. Moss will have a UK farewell at an indie event in Egremont at the Whitehaven Sports Centre on Saturday, October 14th. He will wrestle Joe Coffey that night.
