Robbie E Announces Impact Wrestling Departure

It’s been seven years since Robbie E first started fist pumping in TNA/Impact Wrestling, but now his time there has officially come to an end.

Robbie tweeted on Friday saying, “Thank you @impactwrestling for the last 7 plus years that have changed my life forever and I’ll always appreciate… on to the next.”

Impact followed up with a tweet saying, “Thanks @RobbieEImpact for all your passion and hard work! Don’t miss a new #DadBodDestroyer from Robbie & @muscle_fitness every Monday.”

For those unaware, the wrestler has been posting weekly fitness videos on Muscle Fitness in an attempt to battle dad bod following his wife giving birth to twins.

Another Impact Wrestling Star Announces His Departure

Eddie Kingston announced on Twitter that he is no longer with Impact Wrestling. Kingston had debuted for the company in November of 2016 as a member of the Death Crew Council (DCC).

"I am no longer with @IMPACTWRESTLING and want to thank them for everything," Kingston wrote. "I am now open for bookings @ EddieKingston74@gmail.com"

Kingston was most recently involved in a 20-man Gauntlet for the Gold match this past August for the vacated GFW World Heavyweight Championship, which was won by Eli Drake.

As noted, former TNA Tag Team Champion Robbie E announced on Twitter last week that he was also leaving the company after a seven year run.

Impact Wrestling Announces Departure Of Former Title Holder Who Recently Returned To The Company

As noted, former TNA Knockouts Champion Taryn Terrell has been removed from the Fatal 4-Way Knockouts Championship match at Bound for Glory. The match will now feature GFW Knockouts Champion Sienna defending her title against Allie and Gail Kim. The explanation given on commentary was that doctors would not clear Terrell after she was slapped by Kim.

Impact Wrestling announced today that they have mutually parted ways with Terrell. Terrell had just returned to the company this past August at Destination X. Her previous stint with the company lasted from 2012 until January of 2016.

Eddie Kingston and Robbie E. also recently announced their departures from the company.

Taryn Terrell Gone From Impact Because She Can’t Get Into Canada

It was reported last week that Taryn Terrell was pulled from the Knockouts title match at Bound for Glory and that she was done with the company. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the concussion story from TV (which took her out of the match) is a cover. The real story is that Terrell cannot get into Canada, and with the company shifting TV tapings for now into Canada, as well as Bound for Glory, it made it impossible to use her going forward. This is similar to Jim Cornette’s departure from the company. The split was said to be amicable on both sides.

More Impact Wrestling Departures Revealed

Reno Scum announced on Twitter that they have parted ways with Impact Wrestling. The tag team, which consists of Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend, thanked the company and left the door open for a return in the future.

Reno Scum debuted in Impact Wrestling in March, defeating DCC. They then challenged for the Impact Tag Team Championship in a fatal four-way match, but came up short and lost to The Latin American Xchange. In April, Impact announced that Thornstowe had suffered a biceps injury, and the team was out of action ever since.

Reno Scum had started out on the independent circuit, debuting in 2015 in Global Force Wrestling before it merged with Impact. They lost to The Bollywood Boys in the finals of a tournament to determine the promotion's inaugural tag team champions. They also wrestled in Ring Of Honor in 2015 and 2016.
