    2K today announced the new annual iteration of the Visual Concept basketball title: NBA 2K22 coins will arrive on September 10th showing off on the cover Luka Dončić, global phenomenon and 2 times NBA All-Star, while on the cover of the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition we will find Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant.

    With the best graphics ever and a further improved player AE, historic teams and a wide variety of gaming experiences, NBA 2K22 puts the entire basketball universe in the hands of the player.


    NBA 2K22 will be available in two versions, Standard Edition and NBA 75th Anniversary Edition. The NBA 75th Anniversary Edition celebrates three legendary champions who have revolutionized the league during these 75 years:

    Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hall of Famer, six-time NBA champion, six-time MVP and all-time leader of NBA scores, a legend who still influences the game today, from his patented “Sky Hook” to his activism on social issues;

    Dirk Nowitzki, 14-time All-Star, NBA champion and MVP, embodies not only the global expansion of basketball, but also the evolution of the game itself as the prototype of the “5” with a great shot;

    11-time All-Star, League MVP and two-time NBA Champion, Kevin Durant, a legend in his own right and known for his unique presence in the league appears for the third time as the cover athlete of NBA 2K points.

    The NBA 75th Anniversary Edition features a work of art painted by Atlanta artist Charly Palmer, whose fine art work is defined by complex compositions and unique technique and style. Palmer's work is exhibited nationwide; he is most recently known for his "Civil Rights" series of paintings and compositions titled "America Must Change," which caused a sensation as the cover of TIME Magazine in July 2020.
