Am Samstag, den 08. April 2017 findet in Baltimore, Maryland das ROH-Event „Charm City Excellence“ statt. Auf ROHWrestling.com wurde nun das erste Match für das besagte Event offiziell bestätigt. So wird Frankie Kazarian eine Chance auf den ROH World Television Championship Titel erhalten, welcher aktuell von „The Villain“ Marty Scurll gehalten wird. Es bleibt abzuwarten, ob „The Villain“ Marty Scurll zum jenen Zeitpunkt noch ROH World Television Champion sein wird.

The fallout from the BIGGEST Supercard of Honor of all time will be fully on display at Charm City Excellence! At this international television taping, championships will be decided, rivalries started, and feuds settled. The Best Wrestling on the Planet comes home to Baltimore at the William J. Myers Pavilion with a special 2 PM bell time!

Be the first to see all the ROH stars following what surely will be the largest-attended and most-talked about event in ROH history in Charm City! The ROH Board of Directors have signed participants to compete in Baltimore and working feverously around the clock to ensure all of your favorite ROH stars are scheduled to compete. And we can now announce the first bout signed for Baltimore: a ROH World Television Championship bout!

ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION MARTY SCURLL (IF CHAMPION) vs. FRANKIE KAZARIAN

Frankie Kazarian had a banner night in Sin City at the 15th Anniversary Pay Per View – Kazarian won an exhilarating Six Man Mayhem bout with his new finishing move the Ace of Spades and later helped best friend Christopher Daniels outsmart Bullet Club and ensure the gold ended up around Daniels’ waist. His Six Man Mayhem win earned Kaz a ROH World Television title opportunity. Who he will face in Baltimore will be determined at Supercard of Honor!

The reigning and defending ROH World Television Champion “The Villain” Marty Scurll has systematically defeated each opponent he has faced in a ROH ring with the Crossface Chickenwing. Scurll has proved he can lock in this match-ended submission on competitors as big as Donovan Dijak, as quick as Lio Rush, as experienced as Sonjay Dutt, and as well-traveled as Juice Robinson. In his first weekend in ROH, Scurll defeated long-time rival Will Ospreay for the championship and has never looked back.

His biggest challenge to date looms at Supercard of Honor XI in Lakeland when a man whose entire professional wrestling career is powered by his passion for gold Adam Cole looks to capture the championship for the second time. Recent reigns by Jay Lethal, Tomohiro Ishii, Bobby Fish, and Scurll have put the World in World title and Cole is determined to add this title to Bullet Club’s suddenly barren war chest. The winner of Scurll and Cole will face Kaz in Baltimore!

When asked if Kaz has a preference, he told ROHWrestling.com “Both men are world class competitors – no preference.” For Scurll, Kaz presents perhaps his most veteran opponent to date should he get beyond former three-time ROH World Champion Cole, which will be no small feat. For Cole, an opportunity to extract revenge on Kaz is as enticing as the championship itself. While some would assume that Kaz would have the advantage in terms of rest heading into Baltimore, the Board of Directors recently announced that Kaz will face Punishment Martinez at Supercard of Honor!
