Am Samstag, den 08. April 2017 findet in Baltimore, Maryland das ROH-Event „Charm City Excellence“ statt. Auf ROHWrestling.com wurde nun das dritte Match für das besagte ROH-Event offiziell bestätigt: Ein ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship Match zwischen Bully Ray & The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) (c) und The Rebellion (Caprice Coleman, Rhett Titus & Shane Taylor).

The Best Wrestling on the Planet returns to Baltimore for a night of the hard-hitting, fast-paced, in-your-face action that only Ring of Honor can provide! Be the first to see the fallout from Ring of Honor’s BIGGEST Supercard of Honor ever as the William J. Myers Pavilion hosts an international television taping on Saturday April 8 with a SPECIAL 2 PM BELL TIME!

All of your favorite ROH stars will be there including ROH World Champion Christopher Daniels, ROH World Television Champion Marty Scurll, the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions Bully Ray and The Briscoes, and the NEW ROH World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks! The ROH Board of Directors have signed a second championship bout for this HUGE, international TV taping!

Just over one month ago, Bully Ray shocked the wrestling world when he made his ROH debut, choke slamming then-ROH World Champion Adam Cole through a table! Following the statement made in The Big Apple, Bully Ray joined the Briscoes to defeat the unlikely trio of War Machine and Davey Boy Smith Jr. at 15th Anniversary and then a hobbled Kingdom to capture the ROH World Six Man Tag Team titles one night later.

With their statement heard loud and clear, Bully Ray and the Briscoes successfully defended the ROH World Six Man titles against Hangman Page and the Guerillas of Destiny at Supercard of Honor XI. But there was one team that watched that bout and was curious why it wasn’t them as challengers for the gold: The Rebellion.

The Rebellion defeated the Motor City Machine Guns and Donovan Dijak at Final Battle and then Dalton Castle and the Boys on ROH television to earn a World Six Man Title shot but their plans were derailed when Rhett Titus hurt himself during their championship opportunity and Lio Rush cost them the titles. For a team so anti-ROH and anti-establishment, the Rebellion had no problem sweet talking the ROH Board of Directors and convincing them they deserve another championship opportunity based on the circumstances of their last shot.

The difference this time comes in the form of the 350+ lbs Shane Taylor. Caprice Coleman and Titus have offered Taylor a family and this impressive athlete has thrived among them. Taylor, who has long-standing issues with the Briscoes, could be the first ROH star to slow Bully Ray down! But, will he be enough to level the playing field against a team comprised of the eight-time ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes and a wrestling legend they have been calling “The Big Homie”? The champs have won each match with a move they call the 3B – it remains to be seen if they can will be able to connect with the move on a man as big as Taylor!
