ROH „War Of The Worlds Tour“ (12.05.2017 – New York City, New York): Jay White vs. Will Ospreay offiziell bestätigt

Officials from NJPW and ROH have been working around the clock to finalize matches for the War of the Worlds Pay Per View, emanating from the sold out Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom! It will be broadcast LIVE on Pay Per View, the FiteTV App, Playstation Network, and ROHWrestling.com, Friday May 12 with a 9 PM EST bell time! Two of the world’s best young stars will face each other one on one in a showdown with global implications!

WILL OSPREAY vs. JAY WHITE

2016 saw stars from all around the globe descend up ROH. In June, former New Japan Young Lion New Zealander Jay White made his ROH debut the night after Best in the World defeating now-ROH World Champion “Almighty” Christopher Daniels. ROH traveled to the UK in November and it was there that native son “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay captured the ROH World Television Championship in his very first match defeating Bobby Fish.

Both White and Ospreay came to ROH bristling with potential but have shocked many with just how quickly the two have found the intersection of opportunity and execution. White carried an undefeated streak in singles competition for nearly nine-months that saw him defeat some of the top stars the world over. Ospreay cemented his name in the ROH record books with his championship victory in his debut match.

Two of the fastest-rising stars in ROH history will meet in singles competition for the VERY FIRST TIME! These two have competed on opposite ends of tag team battles, including their battle in the high-energy, high-flying international tag team dream match at Supercard of Honor XI. These two young stars have a lot to prove as they look for championship opportunities and will do battle in a match that has been one of the most-requested by ROH fans!
