WWE Premium Live Event 2024 in Deutschland

WWE kommt im nächsten Jahr zurück – allerdings nicht für Live Events, nicht für eine der wöchentlichen TV-Shows, sondern für einen Premium Live Event (fka. Pay-Per-View). Und zwar geht es am Samstag, den 31.08.2024 unter dem Motto „Bash in Berlin“ in die Mercedes-Benz Arena der Landeshauptstadt.

Im vergangen Jahr hat WWE schon einige Premium Live Events in neuen Länder veranstaltet – so gab es den „Elimination Chamber“ in Montreal (Kanada), „Backlash“ in Puerto Rico, „Night of Champions“ in Jeddah (Saudi Arabien) und „Money in the Bank“ in London (England). Dies scheint sich im nächsten Jahr fortzusetzen, denn WWE „Elimination Chamber“ findet am 24.02.2024 in Perth (Australien) statt und das erste Mal in der Geschichte von WWE mit einem Premium Live Event nach Deutschland kommen. Die Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin bietet für bis zu 17000 Menschen Platz. Dazu gehören 59 Suiten.

STAMFORD, Conn., October 25, 2023 – WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings, today announced that Bash in Berlin, the first-ever major WWE Premium Live Event to be held in Germany, will emanate from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

The announcement of Bash In Berlin in partnership with Live Nation follows the huge success of multiple International WWE Premium Live Events over the past 12 months, including: Elimination Chamber from Montreal, Backlash from Puerto Rico, Night of Champions from Jeddah and Money In The Bank from London. Australia will play host to Elimination Chamber: Perth on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

WWE veranstaltet 2024 mit Bash in Berlin den ersten Premium Live Event aller Zeiten in Deutschland. Ergänzend verkündet der Marktführer mit der heutigen Pressemitteilung, dass am Freitag zuvor auch „Friday Night SmackDown“ in der Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin aufgezeichnet wird. 

WWE erklärte, dass die SmackDown-Episode in Deutschland aufgrund der „unglaublichen frühen Vorregistrierungsresonanz“ für „Bash in Berlin“-Tickets stattfinden wird.

Der Vorverkauf für die Kombitickets für Bash in Berlin/SmackDown beginnt am Dienstag, den 28. November um 10 Uhr MEZ. Der öffentliche Vorverkauf für beide Veranstaltungen beginnt am Donnerstag, den 30. November um 10.00 Uhr MEZ.

Kevin Owens, Charlotte Flair, Bobby Lashley, Jimmy Uso, Rey Mysterio und LA Knight sind auf der Werbegrafik der WWE für die SmackDown-Episode zu sehen. Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Gunther und Drew McIntyre sind auf der Grafik für den Bash in Berlin zu sehen.

STAMFORD, Conn., November 20, 2023 – WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings, today announced that due to the incredible early pre-registration response for Bash in Berlin – the first-ever major WWE Premium Live Event to be held in Germany – SmackDownwill also emanate from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, the night before on Friday, August 30, 2024.

This marks the first time ever that SmackDown will broadcast from Germany.
