Neue Liebes-Storyline bei RAW? / Zwei Namen für das 30-Man Royal Rumble Match beim WWE Royal Rumble 2017 offiziell bestätigt / Bayley verlobt / Kenny Dykstra verliert Job

Aktuell sieht es danach aus, als wäre die Interaktion zwischen Cedric Alexander und Alicia Fox in der RAW Pre-Show in Toronto, Ontario, Kanada in der vergangenen Woche der Anfang einer neuen Liebes-Storyline zwischen den Beiden gewesen, da der besagte Angle in dieser Woche weitergeführt worden ist. So bestritt Cedric Alexander in der aktuellen RAW-Episode am Montag, den 28. November 2016 in Charlotte, North Carolina bekanntlich ein Cruiserweight Division Match gegen Tony Nese, welches er jedoch nach einer Ablenkung von Drew Gulak verloren hat. Alicia Fox verfolgte das besagte Match auf einem Monitor im Backstage-Bereich und beobachtete Cedric Alexander. Es bleibt abzuwarten, ob sich mit Alicia Fox & Cedric Alexander in den kommenden Wochen tatsächlich ein neues On-Screen Liebespaar entwickeln wird.

Der WWE Royal Rumble 2017 Pay-Per-View findet bekanntlich am Sonntag, den 29. Januar 2017 im Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas statt. Nachdem in der vergangenen Woche bei RAW in Toronto, Ontario, Kanada (21. November 2016) bereits Bill Goldberg offiziell bestätigt hat, dass er am 30-Man Royal Rumble Match beim WWE Royal Rumble 2017 teilnehmen wird, bestätigte Paul Heyman in der aktuellen RAW-Episode am Montag, den 28. November 2016 in Charlotte, North Carolina in einem Backstage-Interview mit Michael Cole, dass Brock Lesnar ebenfalls am besagten 30-Man Royal Rumble Match teilnehmen wird. Goldberg is back, and he’s headed for the 30th annual Royal Rumble Match … and he is going to be joined by a Beast.

After his jaw-dropping showing against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, where he defeated The Anomaly in under two minutes, Goldberg accepted Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon’s offer to compete in the 2017 Royal Rumble Match.

The anti was then upped exponentially the next week when Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman declared that his client Lesnar would also be joining the fray of the Royal Rumble Match, thus putting Lesnar and Goldberg on another possible collision course!

Thirty Superstars from Raw and SmackDown LIVE will compete in the annual over-the-top-rope melee, the winner of which moves on to battle for championship glory in the main event of WrestleMania.

A tradition dating back to 1988, the Royal Rumble Match starts with two participants, with new Superstars entering the ring every 90 seconds. This continues until all 30 Superstars have entered the bout. Eliminations occur when a Superstar is thrown over the top rope and both of his feet hit the floor. The last Superstar standing will be declared the victor.

Will Goldberg be able to keep this new win streak alive and outlast 29 other Superstars to advance to The Showcase of the Immortals? Or, will he cross paths with Lesnar and set the WWE’s version of the All-Star Game, completely ablaze? And what other Superstars from Raw and SmackDown LIVE will join the fray and fight for the chance at sports-entertainment immortality?

Wie SquaredCircleSirens berichtet, wurde erst jetzt bekannt, dass sich RAW Superstar Bayley und der Independent-Wrestler Aaron Solow in der vergangenen Woche verlobt haben und demnächst heiraten werden.

Wie Ryan Satin von Pro Wrestling Sheet berichtet, wurde Spirit Squad-Mitglied Kenny Dykstra kürzlich von seinem Arbeitgeber entlassen, nachdem dieser zuletzt des öfteren nicht zur Arbeit erschien und seinem Hauptberuf (Leiter einer Charity-Organisation) nachging, sondern es lieber bevorzugte, für die WWE bei SmackDown! LIVE in den Ring zu steigen. Weiter wird berichtet, dass Kenny Dykstra das Risiko einer Entlassung bewusst eingegangen ist, da er sein neuerliches WWE-Engagement dazu nutzen wollte, sich für einen neuen festen WWE-Vertrag zu empfehlen, um seinen Traum noch einmal ausleben zu dürfen. Bislang ist allerdings noch unklar, ob sich der Einsatz für Kenny Dykstra auch gelohnt hat, da immer noch nicht bekannt ist, ob die Company ihm einen festen Vertrag angeboten hat.
