In der aktuellen SmackDown! LIVE-Episode am Dienstag, den 03. Januar 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida wurden bereits drei Matches für die nächste SmackDown! LIVE-Episode am Dienstag, den 10. Januar 2017 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana offiziell bestätigt. So werden die amtierenden SmackDown! Tag Team Champions American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) ihre Titel gegen Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper verteidigen, während Nikki Bella in einem Match auf Natalya treffen wird. Außerdem wird Baron Corbin ein Match gegen John Cena bestreiten.
