The collaborative relationship between Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling continues, bringing you matches and experiences you can’t find anywhere else! This Sunday’s GLOBAL WARS pay-per-view kicks off a busy week for the stars of ROH and NJPW, who are hitting the road to Dearborn, Toronto, and New York City!
On May 11th, ROH returns to the Ted Reeve Arena in Toronto for a special Wednesday night event! Not only will all your favorite ROH and NJPW stars be there in action, we will also be filming future episodes of ROH television and you can show your support on camera! An EPIC rematch is coming to the WAR OF THE WORLDS TOUR! In the final’s of last year’s Battle of the Super Juniors Tournament, Kyle O’Reilly squared off against KUSHIDA.
What transpired was an absolutely astounding battle between two of the most exciting and technically proficient athletes in all of professional wrestling! KUSHIDA would claim victory and win the tournament, but Kyle O’Reilly had nothing to be ashamed about in defeat. Quite simply, this was one of if not THE match of the year for all of 2015!
Since then, fans have been clamoring for another singles encounter between KUSHIDA and O’Reilly. O’Reilly is an extremely cerebral wrestler, who trains nonstop and studies tapes of all his matches and competitors in order to develop careful strategy. He will be coming to Toronto fully prepared for anything KUSHIDA can throw at him! With the entire world interested in this massive rematch, Kyle O’Reilly has even more motivation to get his win back.
