„Let’s Make TNA Great Again“: IMPACT Wrestling-Rückkehr von Matt Morgan bestätigt / Angeblich auch LAX-Comeback / Dixie Carter-Regime soll „begraben“ werden

Nachdem der ehemalige WWE & TNA Wrestler Matt Morgan vor einigen Tagen im WrestlingINC Podcast angekündigte, innerhalb der nächsten vier Wochen in eine wöchentliche Wrestling TV-Show zurückzukehren und damit eine mögliche Rückkehr zu IMPACT Wrestling andeutete, bestätigte Dave Meltzer nun in der neuesten Ausgabe vom Wrestling Observer Newsletter, dass Matt Morgan bei den dieswöchigen IMPACT Wrestling TV-Tapings vom 02. bis 05. März 2017 zu IMPACT Wrestling zurückkehren wird.

Nach Ryan Satin von Pro Wrestling Sheet und Mike Johnson vom PWInsider bestätigt nun auch Dave Meltzer vom Wrestling Observer, dass Bruce Prichard und Konnan bei den dieswöchigen IMPACT Wrestling TV-Tapings vom 02. bis 05. März 2017 zu IMPACT Wrestling zurückkehren werden.

Außerdem herrscht hinter den Kulissen bei IMPACT Wrestling der Glaube, dass die Company LAX (The Latin American Xchange) zurückbringen wird, welche damals von Homicide, Hernandez & Konnan verkörpert worden sind. Allerdings ist bislang noch unklar, in welcher Besetzung die LAX-Rückkehr erfolgen wird, da Hernandez bekanntlich aufgrund seines damaligen Lucha Underground-Vertrages bei seinem letzten IMPACT Wrestling-Run die Company in große Schwierigkeiten gebracht hat.

Die neue große IMPACT Wrestling Marketing-Strategie von Jeff Jarrett soll grob zusammengefasst so ähnlich wie „Let’s Make TNA Great Again“ lauten und es ist zu erwarten, dass bei den dieswöchigen IMPACT Wrestling TV-Tapings vom 02. bis 05. März 2017 das Dixie Carter-Regime „begraben“ wird.

„There are a ton of changes going on behind the scenes. A lot of people who worked for the company in the past have been contacted and Jeff Jarrett’s big marketing idea is something along the lines of “Let’s Make TNA Great Again,” which did work in the Presidential election, but didn’t work as well for Darren Young. The idea is to present the idea of the good old days of TNA when Jarrett was in charge and with the idea that things went off the rails, perhaps not using that term, since he was gone. But on television they are going to bury Dixie Carter’s regime (whether by name or not) and essentially say the product went to hell. Bruce Prichard is being brought back for a role where he is to appear at the upcoming tapings as one of those people, and this may be as early as the 3/9 show, being taped on 3/2. Prichard is booked for that show. Right now Prichard is only coming in as a television character, and will continue his podcasts. He essentially got the gig because of how strong his podcast numbers were and Jeff Jarrett hoping that his podcast listeners would start watching TNA. Matt Morgan is being brought in for another run as a star once again. They are also bringing Konnan back, also to bury former TNA (the funny part of all this is originally the lawsuit filed for racism against TNA had to do with Jarrett, but after the settlement, Konnan and Jarrett have long since made up and done business together). The belief is they will bring back LAX, but not sure who will be in it, as Homicide is still around, but Hernandez got TNA in trouble when he came back and Hernandez and Konnan had heat when they were in Lucha Underground.“
