April 2017 in Louisville, Kentucky zum neuen #1 Contender auf den WWE Championship Titel gekürt, indem er eine Six-Pack Challenge gegen Dolph Ziggler, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Mojo Rawley und Sami Zayn mit Hilfe von The Bollywood Boyz (Harv & Gurv Sihra) gewonnen hat und wird sein WWE Championship Match gegen WWE Champion Randy Orton beim SmackDown! LIVE Pay-Per-View „WWE Backlash 2017“ am Sonntag, den 21. Mai 2017 in Chicago, Illinois erhalten.
