Whereas the ROH Experience in Columbus was the most fan-interactive ROH event to date, the ROH Board of Directors are heading into The Best Wrestling on the Planet’s return to Milwaukee with a hands-off approach with the stars of ROH having a large hand in choosing and signing their bouts! And the deepest tag team division on the planet moves a step closer into determining a number one contender for the ROH World Tag Team Championships!

MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS (ALEX SHELLEY & CHRIS SABIN) vs. THE KINGDOM (MATT TAVEN & VINNY MARSEGLIA)

The Motor City Machine Guns are among the most-decorated tag teams in wrestling history. But there has been one piece of hardware that has eluded them that has been just within their grasp: the ROH World Tag Team Championship. With the Rebellion viciously attacking Search and Destroy, including the Machine Guns, Sabin and Shelley have had to put their dreams on hold as Shelley recovered from injuries sustained in the senseless attack.

But now at 100%, they step in the ring in Milwaukee against a team that says they remain rightful holders of ROH gold themselves, The Kingdom!

Matt Taven, with the help of a smart game plan and “Inksanity” Vinny Marseglia, won the Honor Royale to capture a ROH World Title shot against “Almighty” Christopher Daniels at the Dearborn, MI stop of the War of the Worlds tour! But it was Chris Sabin that Taven last eliminated to earn the shot. Not only will this match help determine the ROH World Tag Team Championship contenders, but it may also settle some bad blood between the Machine Guns and the Kingdom!

It was at Honor Reigns Supreme in Dallas that Sabin, Shelley, and Jay White had the Kingdom defeated before the Kingdom chose to use Taven’s walking stick and got themselves disqualified. Many believe that the titles were in jeopardy of changing hands before the staff was used and that Search and Destroy could feel the desperation!

While Sabin and Shelley relish the opportunity to get back on track to earning a ROH World Tag Team title shot, they are also looking for revenge! It is the Motor City Machine Guns versus the Kingdom at ROH Unauthorized!
