Ring Of Honor hat nun für ROH „Field Of Honor 2016“ am Samstag, den 27. August 2016 in Brooklyn, New York ein ROH World Tag Team Championship Gauntlet zwischen The Addiction (c), War Machine, ANX, Will Ferrara & Cheeseburger, Yano & Gedo und The Briscoes offiziell bestätigt.

The ROH summer tradition continues: FIELD OF HONOR! We are returning to MCU Park in Brooklyn, NY on August 27th for a night of the best professional wrestling on the planet. Not only will all your favorite ROH stars be there, premiere athletes from New Japan Pro Wrestling are on their way to Brooklyn, too!
There’s nothing quite like seeing Ring of Honor live, and the atmosphere at MCU Park is always extra special for FIELD OF HONOR! Here’s the latest match signed for August 27th:
ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP GAUNTLET
The tag titles will be on the line at FIELD OF HONOR! Head Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has confirmed that Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian will be scheduled to defend their ROH World Tag Team Championship in Brooklyn. But rather than name a challenger, on August 27th, he’s giving FIVE teams the chance to earn an opportunity for that very same night!
Last year’s Golden Gauntlet for a Television Championship shot was unpredictable and exciting. This year, the stakes of the gauntlet raise even higher because the winner receives an IMMEDIATE title shot! That’s right, whichever team manages to survive the gauntlet must immediately face The Addiction with the ROH World Tag Team Championship on the line!
The order of teams will be determined by a coin flip. Two teams will square off and when one is defeated, the next team with enter the gauntlet. The match will continue until only one team is left! A gauntlet match is extremely unpredictable and it’s nearly impossible to thoroughly scout your opponents when you don’t know who they will be. Whichever team survives will definitely have earned their instant championship opportunity and the chance to make history at FIELD OF HONOR!
