Ring Of Honor hat nun für die ROH TV-Tapings am Samstag, den 25. Juni 2016 in Concord, North Carolina ein ROH World Tag Team Championship Match für Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser offiziell bestätigt. Demnach zufolge werden die Beiden entweder auf The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) (c) oder The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) treffen, je nachdem, welches der beiden Tag Teams den ROH „Best In The World 2016“ Pay-Per-View am Vortag als ROH World Tag Team Champion verlassen wird.

In front of their hometown crowd, BEER CITY BRUISER and “PRO WRESTLING’S LAST REAL MAN” SILAS YOUNG emerged the victor in a nine-team field to win TAG WARS 2016 and earn a ROH World Tag Team Championship match in Concord, NC! They will face the winner of the tag team grudge match between challengers ALEX SHELLEY and CHRIS SABIN, the Motor City Machine Guns, and the ROH World Tag Team Champions CHRISTOPHER DANIELS and FRANKIE KAZARIAN, the Addiction!
Bruiser and Young emerged victorious against the team of MOOSE and 2016 TOP PROSPECT LIO RUSH and former ROH World Tag Team Champions WAR MACHINE! The following night, in front of their hometown crowd, the two brash and callous individuals shocked the world by winning the finals in front of their hometown crowd! Normally, two of the most hated men on the ROH roster, the two, against their wishes, were cheered like heroes when they captured the title shot!
With five former ROH World Tag Team Championship teams in the tournament, Bruiser and Young were not chosen by many to win Tag Wars 2016. But the two Milwaukee brawlers surprised the hometown crowd and will leave Beer City with a guaranteed title shot for Best in the World weekend’s National Television Taping!
