ROH World Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Match für ROH „Aftershock Tour: TV-Taping“ am 16. Juli 2016 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania offiziell bestätigt

ROH has deep roots in The City of Brotherly Love, the place where The Best Wrestling on the Planet hosted its first show in 2002. It’s always special when ROH comes to the 2300 Arena, and this is sure to be one of the biggest shows of the year!

Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has just signed the following match for July 16th in Philadelphia:

ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP – TRIPLE THREAT: THE ADDICTION VS. MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS VS. WAR MACHINE

War Machine (Raymond Rowe and Hanson) wants to regain the ROH World Tag Team Title in the same arena that they captured the belts the first time.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) want to cement their status as one of the best tag teams of the past decade by winning their elusive first ROH World Tag Team Championship.

And both teams want to exact revenge on the champions, The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian).

Clearly, The Addiction’s reign as ROH World Tag Team Champions is in serious jeopardy in this star-studded Triple Threat Match.

War Machine, which won the tag team title last December in Philadelphia, lost the championship to The Addiction in a controversial match in May.

After War Machine had successfully defended the title against The Briscoe Brothers in a grueling match the night before at the Global Wars pay-per-view, Hanson and Rowe defeated New Japan Pro Wrestling stars Kazuchika Okada and Gedo in a match in which the champions voluntarily put the title on the line.

The opportunistic Daniels and Kazarian then came down to the ring and demanded a title shot for later in the week. Never ones to back down from a challenge, War Machine not only agreed to the match, but they insisted it take place that night.

It took two belt shots to the head while the referee was distracted, but The Addiction managed to walk out as the new champions.

The Motor City Machine Guns received a title shot against The Addiction at the Best in the World pay-per-view on June 24th, but Daniels and Kazarian escaped with the belts after their surprising new ally Kamaitachi provided a distraction and Daniels took out Shelley with a low blow.

Will the cunning and resourceful Addiction manage to steal another victory in Philadelphia, or will new champions be crowned at the historic arena?
