TJ Perkins & Drew Gulak qualifizieren sich bei EVOLVE 61 für „The WWE Cruiserweight Classic“

Die WWE hat nun offiziell bestätigt, dass sich TJ Perkins & Drew Gulak beim EVOLVE 61-Event in Queens, New York (07. Mai 2016) in WWE Cruiserweight Classic Qualifying Matches für „The WWE Cruiserweight Classic“ qualifiziert haben. Somit sind bereits 11 von insgesamt 32 Teilnehmer-Plätzen offiziell belegt: Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Rich Swann, Akira Tozawa, Ho Ho Lun, Lince Dorado, Zack Sabre Jr., Jack Gallagher, Noam Dar, TJ Perkins und Drew Gulak.

QUEENS, N.Y. — Drew Gulak and TJ Perkins won qualifying matches for the WWE Cruiserweight Classic at an EVOLVE Wrestling event in New York City, WWE.com has confirmed.

Submission expert Gulak faced a tough challenge from the competitor he holds the EVOLVE Tag Team Titles with, “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams, but emerged victorious to earn a spot in this summer’s huge tournament.

In the second qualifier, flashy veteran Perkins defeated up-and-comer Fred Yehi to cement his place in the field of 32.

The Cruiserweight Classic begins Wednesday, July 13, at 9/8 C, exclusively on WWE Network.

„The Cruiserweight Classic“ (ehemals „Global Cruiserweight Series“) ist bekanntlich eine 10 Episoden umfassende Cruiserweight-Show für das WWE Network, die von einem Turnier handelt, an dem insgesamt 32 Cruiserweights aus aller Welt teilnehmen werden. Die erste Episode der Show wird am Mittwoch, den 13. Juli 2016 auf dem WWE Network ausgestrahlt werden.
