TNA Wrestling hat via Twitter offiziell bestätigt, dass TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards in der IMPACT Wrestling LIVE-Episode am Donnerstag, den 05. Januar 2017 seinen Titel verteidigen wird. Unklar ist jedoch, ob Eddie Edwards den Titel gegen Bobby Lashley, Ethan Carter III oder einen Mystery Opponent aufs Spiel setzt und wie die Stipulation des Matches lauten wird.
