Wie WWE heute in einer Pressemitteilung verk\u00fcndet, hat der 22-J\u00e4hrige Lio Rush einen Entwicklungsvertrag unterschrieben und wird sein Training im WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida mit dem heutigen Tage beginnen.<\/p>\n

Rush hat 2014 mit dem Wrestlingtraining begonnen und inzwischen in 43 L\u00e4ndern Matches bestritten. So auch in Deutschland bei westside Xtreme wrestling (wXw). Zu seinen bisher gr\u00f6\u00dften Erfolgen z\u00e4hlen der Sieg des ROH „Top Prospect Tournaments“ und der CZW Heavyweight Championship Titelgewinn.<\/p>\n

WWE has announced a blockbuster signing in the form of 22-year-old prodigy Lio Rush.<\/p>\n

Internationally recognized as one of the ring\u2019s top high-flyers, Rush officially joined the WWE Performance Center today in Orlando, Fla.<\/p>\n

Born Lionel Gerard Green, of Lanham, Md., Rush wrestled in high school, becoming a two-time All-American and three-time state qualifier. He began training for sports-entertainment in 2014 and, in less than three years, has competed in 43 states, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany and Ireland. In 2016, he won Ring of Honor\u2019s Top Prospect Tournament, and earlier this year, he held the Combat Zone Wrestling Heavyweight Championship.<\/p>\n

The 160-pounder quickly became a fan favorite on the independent scene for his daredevil creativity and unbelievable resiliency, as well as his \u201cDragon\u2019s Call\u201d finisher, a devastating frog splash that recalls D\u2019Lo Brown\u2019s split-leg variation. In joining the WWE PC, Rush reunites with a former tag team partner, current NXT Superstar The Velveteen Dream, with whom Rush co-held the Maryland Championship Wrestling Tag Team Titles in 2015.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
