In einem Pressebericht, der WrestlingINC vorlag, wurde von Seiten AEW\u2018s best\u00e4tigt, dass Sting einen mehrj\u00e4hrigen Vertrag unterschrieben h\u00e4tte und als Vollzeitwrestler verpflichtet worden w\u00e4re. Jener feierte auch gleich in der gestrigen Spezialausgabe von „Dynamite“ sein Deb\u00fct, als er Arn Anderson, Dustin Rhodes, Cody & Darby Allin half, die in einen Brawl gegen Powerhouse Hobbs, Ricky Starks & Brian Cage verfallen waren.<\/p>\n
F\u00fcr AEW Pr\u00e4sident Tony Khan war das Deb\u00fct von Sting \u201egelungen, da es keinen besseren Zeitpunkt gegeben h\u00e4tte, als bei dieser speziellen Ausgabe von ‚Dynamite‘.\u201c<\/p>\n
Sting wurde 2016 in die Hall of Fame der WWE aufgenommen, nachdem er 2014 eine R\u00fcckkehr in den Ring beim Marktf\u00fchrer vollzog. Bei „Night of Champions“ 2015 verletzte er sich im Match gegen den damaligen Weltmeister Seth Rollins, was das Karriereende bedeutete.
\nVor einiger Zeit berichteten wir, dass der Legendenvertrag von Sting im Mai auslief und folglich im Oktober auch das Merchandise von jenem im offiziellen WWE Shop entfernt wurde.<\/p>\n

\nDecember 2, 2020 \u2013 „Winter is Coming“ was already guaranteed to be the biggest episodeof AEW DYNAMITE yet, but on a night packed with tremendous clashes, the debut of wrestling legend Sting took the world by surprise.<\/p>\nWidely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers ever, Sting’s jaw-dropping appearance sent electricity through the crowd at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Fla., and throughout the wrestling world, when he stepped in the ring.<\/p>\n
AEW has also confirmed tonight that it has officially signed Sting to a full-time, multi-year agreement.<\/p>\n
„The surprise introduction of Sting was a great way to celebrate our biggest episode of Dynamite yet,“ said Tony Khan, CEO and GM of AEW. „When AEW launched, I was ecstatic to bring wrestling back to TNT after a very long absence. Sting defeated the legendary Ric Flair in the final wrestling match to be shown on TNT for more than 18 years until the debut of Dynamite in 2019.
