Wie WrestlingCorner.de bereits Ende Dezember 2015 berichtete, plant die WWE laut Informationen von WrestlingNewsWorld f\u00fcr das Jahr 2016 drastische Ver\u00e4nderungen in ihrem Pay-Per-View Kalender. So wurde damals bekanntlich spekuliert, dass die WWE h\u00f6chstwahrscheinlich einige Gimmick Pay-Per-Views wie z.B. „Hell In A Cell“, „Money In The Bank“, „Night Of Champions“, „Extreme Rules“, „Elimination Chamber“ und „TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs“ zugunsten einiger neuer WWE Network LIVE-Specials aus ihrem Pay-Per-View Kalender streichen wird. Angeblich soll die WWE damals in Betracht gezogen haben, die Anzahl ihrer Pay-Per-Views im Jahr ein wenig zu reduzieren und im Gegenzug noch mehr traditionelle alte WWE, WCW oder ECW Pay-Per-Views wie z.B. „King Of The Ring“, „Judgment Day“, „Backlash“, „Bash At The Beach“ und „Halloween Havoc“ zur\u00fcckzubringen und diese exklusiv als LIVE-Specials auf dem WWE Network auszustrahlen, da die Company durch die stetig wachsende Verbreitung des WWE Network in diversen L\u00e4ndern der Welt stets neue Zuschauer gewinnt und neue Zielgruppen erreicht.<\/p>\n
In einem Update zum besagten Thema berichtet DailyWrestlingNews nun, dass die WWE Offiziellen zuletzt erneut Gespr\u00e4che dar\u00fcber gef\u00fchrt haben sollen, die Anzahl der Pay-Per-Views im Jahr zu reduzieren und im Gegenzug die Anzahl der WWE Network LIVE Specials wie „Beast In The East“ und „Live from MSG“ zu erh\u00f6hen. Zwar wurden die Pl\u00e4ne bislang noch nicht abgeschlossen, allerdings hei\u00dft es, dass die WWE Offiziellen dar\u00fcber gesprochen haben sollen, etwa sechs bis sieben WWE Network LIVE Specials (Anmerkung: NXT TakeOver Events nicht mitgerechnet) pro Jahr zu veranstalten und lediglich nur noch 10 oder 11 Pay-Per-Views im Jahr abzuhalten.<\/p>\n
