On Saturday June 11, Ring of Honor returns to the Hopkins Eisenhower Community Center as Ring of Honor\u2019s Road to Best in the World rolls on! In Minnesota, the stars of Ring of Honor look to pick up key victories and establish momentum heading into one of the year\u2019s biggest events. Nigel McGuinness has signed a FIRST-TIME singles bout between two former partners!<\/p>\n ACH vs. ALEX SHELLEY<\/p>\n Since returning to Ring of Honor, Alex Shelley has turned the tag team division on its head. After reuniting the Motor City Machine Guns with Chris Sabin, the Guns have secured two two-on-two victories over the current ROH World Tag Team champions the Addiction! Prior to the Guns reuniting, Shelley became a mentor to ACH and competed with him in the tag team division while ACH\u2019s regular partner Matt Sydal competed Japan.<\/p>\n In Dearborn as part of the War of the World Tour, ACH and Sydal defeated Silas Young and Beer City Bruiser. Following the victory, ACH and Sydal parted ways amicably as ACH stated he was ready to take on the world alone. Things between ACH and Shelley are similarly amicable but ACH wants to prove to a former mentor that he has what it takes to reach ROH World Championship singles gold! For the very first time, the two will meet in Hopkins!<\/p>\n ACH has been on a roll as of late, picking up wins over 2016 Top Prospect Tournament winner Lio Rush and international star KAMAITACHI in recent weeks.
