The stars of RING OF HONOR return to the Charlotte area for BEST IN THE WORLD Weekend on Friday June 24, with 9 PM EST bell time for BEST IN THE WORLD LIVE on Pay Per view! The following night, ROH will conduct a National Television Taping starting at 6 PM EST. Both events will take place at the Cabarrus Arena in Concord, NC just outside of Charlotte!<\/p>\n Fans will be able to watch this extravaganza in the United States on all major carriers and worldwide on ROHWrestling.com but nothing beats seeing the hard-hitting, fast-paced action LIVE and in person!<\/p>\n With Best in the World Weekend next on the docket, ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has begun to sign bouts for the National Television Taping following Best in the World! And this FIRST-TIME, ONE-ON-ONE BOUT may have huge championship implications!<\/p>\n \u201cPARTY PEACOCK\u201d DALTON CASTLE vs. \u201cMR. ROH\u201d RODERICK STRONG<\/p>\n It is hard to argue that 2016 has been the Year of the Peacock! After making his debut in New Japan Pro-Wrestling at Honor Rising, Dalton Castle vanquished \u201cPro Wrestling\u2019s Last Real Man\u0094 Silas Young in a Fight Without Honor in Las Vegas and is riding one of Ring of Honor\u2019s longest-active winning streaks, picking up those victories on some of the biggest stages in front of some of the biggest crowds in ROH history.<\/p>\n Arguably his biggest win came in a Four Corners Survival Match at Global Wars. In the bout, Castle emerged victorious over ACH, Adam Page, and \u201cMr. ROH\u201d Roderick Strong to earn a shot at the ROH World Television Champion at Best in the World. The victory was the kind of win that propels an emerging star into the upper echelon; the fans in Chicago Ridge were jubilant. But at least one man wasn\u2019t: Roderick Strong.<\/p>\n Strong did not figure in the decision of the match and believes Castle stole the pinfall! In multi-man matches in Collinsville and Indianapolis, Strong once again fell victim to not figuring in the decision in multi-man matches but made up for it in Columbus. In the Buckeye State, the former Triple Crown Champion scored a rare pinfall victory over Jay Briscoe in their first meeting in over five years! Strong has the wind to his back and believes he is the rightful challenger to the ROH World Television Champion.<\/p>\n But who will be the champion the night after Best in the World?
