On Friday, Aug. 19th and Saturday, Aug. 20th, the stars of RING of HONOR and NEW JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING converge on Las Vegas for two nights of electrifying action! One of the premier ROH events of the year, DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR XIV, will emanate from SAM\u2019S TOWN LIVE and be broadcast around the globe on Pay Per View, the FITE TV App, Playstation Network, and ROHWrestling.com!<\/p>\n The next night, the stars from each promotion will return to Sam\u2019s Town to do battle in a national television taping with truly global implications!<\/p>\n The partnership between Ring of Honor and New Japan continues to grow stronger each day. Fans of both companies have requested talent and thought of dream matches that they would like to see take place on both sides of the Pacific.<\/p>\n The following match for Death Before Dishonor XIV has just been signed:<\/p>\n Non-Title Match \u201cThe Rainmaker\u201d Kazuchika Okada and \u201cThe Party Peacock\u201d Dalton Castle are two of the most colorful and charismatic competitors in the sport. Once they\u2019ve made their elaborate entrances and the bell rings, however, they\u2019re also two of the toughest to beat.<\/p>\n Okada, regarded as one of the top wrestlers in the world, won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship for the fourth time when he defeated Tetsuya Naito last month to avenge his loss to Naito in April.<\/p>\n Okada, who has also beaten Hiroshi Tanahashi and AJ Styles to capture the IWGP Heavyweight Title, has scored victories in ROH rings over the likes of Roderick Strong, Moose and Matt Sydal.<\/p>\n He has likely never faced a competitor as unorthodox as Castle, however. Castle has been on a roll in recent months and came extremely close to dethroning ROH World Television Champion Bobby Fish at the Best in the World Pay Per View last month.<\/p>\n Okada\u2019s manager, Gedo, knows first-hand how good Castle is, and he also knows how much of a distraction The Boys can be at ringside. Castle, with an assist from The Boys, defeated the veteran Gedo on a recent episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling.<\/p>\n Will \u201cThe Party Peacock\u201d soar to new heights at Death Before Dishonor XIV?
