WWE „Hall of Fame 2025“: Michelle McCool offiziell bestätigt

Vor zwei Wochen überraschten die WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels und The Undertaker den Chief Content Officer Paul „Triple H“ Levesque im Rahmen einer Personalversammlung im WWE Headquarter. In der Sendung „Get Up“ auf ESPN schlug der Headliner der diesjährigen Hall of Fame Zeremonie zurück und überraschte den Undertaker und seine Ehefrau Michelle McCool die in der Sendung zu Gast waren um die neue WWE Show „Legends & Future Greats“ zu promoten.

Michelle McCool war Teilnehmerin des Talentwettbewerbs „Diva Search“ und gewann im Laufe ihrer Karriere 2004 bis 2011 die WWE Divas und WWE Women’s Championship. Gemeinsam mit Layla formte die heute 45-Jährige ebenso erfolgreich das Team LayCool. 2025 wird sie in die WWE Hall of Fame aufgenommen.

Details zur diesjährigen Hall of Fame sind aktuell noch nicht bekannt. Während sie im vergangenen Jahr mit „Friday Night SmackDown“ kombiniert wurde, wird diese (so wie „NXT: Stand & Deliver“ und „Monday Night RAW“) in der T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada stattfinden. Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass sie durchaus am Abend vor „WrestleMania 41“ stattfinden wird, allerdings sind weder die Uhrzeit, noch der Ort, offiziell bestätigt.

As announced by Paul „Triple H“ Levesque on ESPN’s Get Up, Michelle McCool will enter the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2025.

Living by the motto “Faith to fight the good fight, heart to believe and soul to search within,” McCool unique journey took her from a Diva Search competitor to the top of the division and ultimately to the pantheon of greats in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Debuting on SmackDown in 2004 as a manager, McCool quickly learned that she wanted to a be a competitor in the ring instead and worked harder than ever to prove that she belonged, going on to make history by becoming the inaugural Divas Champion in 2008 and unifying that title with the WWE Women’s Championship in 2009. 

Her tandem with fellow Superstar Layla led to the formation of LayCool, a dominant team that kept both McCool and Layla on top of the women’s division for years. 

After retiring, McCool has made multiple surprise returns to WWE including in multiple Royal Rumble Matches, locking up with Superstars like Charlotte Flair, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. 

From humble beginnings as a middle school science teacher to Divas Search competitor to now an undeniable legend, McCool takes her rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame in the Class of 2025.
