WWE strich wegen Verletzungsgefahr zwei große Spots aus dem ersten Women’s Hell In A Cell Match

Wie WrestlingNews berichtet, war WWE Hall Of Famer „The Nature Boy“ Ric Flair in dieser Woche in der „Busted Open Radio Show“ zu Gast und sprach dort u.a. über den Main Event vom WWE Hell In A Cell 2016 Pay-Per-View, dem RAW Women’s Championship Hell In A Cell Match zwischen Sasha Banks und Charlotte Flair. Darin ließ Ric Flair verlauten, dass seine Tochter Charlotte Flair seiner Meinung nach der beste Worker der Company ist – und das geschlechterübergreifend. Außerdem soll Charlotte Flair in seinen Augen nicht schlechter als Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Triple H oder AJ Styles sein:

“I think she’s the best worker in the company, man or woman. She’s right there with Seth Rollins, or Randy Orton, or Hunter [Triple H]. There’s nothing she can’t do, A.J.[Styles], anything that they can do, she can do.”

Zudem ließ Ric Flair verlauten, dass die Entscheidung, das RAW Women’s Championship Hell In A Cell Match den Pay-Per-View als letztes Match abschließen zu lassen, die richtige Entscheidung war, da diese Paarung seiner Meinung nach beim Pay-Per-View nicht mehr hätte getoppt werden können:

“For Vince to put them in the main event, you know, if I’m there and I’m watching the show, it’s a good thing they were in the main event, because nothing could have followed it.”

Ric Flair verriet außerdem, dass das RAW Women’s Championship Hell In A Cell Match nicht so stattfand, wie ursprünglich geplant. So soll die WWE kurzfristig zwei große Spots aus dem besagten Match gestrichen haben, weil die Company große Angst davor hatte, dass sich Sasha Banks dabei am Ende ernsthaft verletzt. Laut Ric Flair soll es sich bei einem der beiden Spots um einen Moonsault gehandelt haben – möglicherweise einen Moonsault vom Hell In A Cell-Käfigdach:

“They took two huge spots out of the match, during the match, because they were afraid Sasha [Banks] was going to get hurt. If the original plan had been, there were two things and I don’t want to say what they were, but you can only imagine. One of them involved a moonsault.”
