Two of the world’s best young stars will face each other one on one in a showdown with global implications!

WILL OSPREAY vs. JAY WHITE

2016 saw stars from all around the globe descend up ROH. In June, former New Japan Young Lion New Zealander Jay White made his ROH debut the night after Best in the World defeating now-ROH World Champion “Almighty” Christopher Daniels. ROH traveled to the UK in November and it was there that native son “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay captured the ROH World Television Championship in his very first match defeating Bobby Fish.

Both White and Ospreay came to ROH bristling with potential but have shocked many with just how quickly the two have found the intersection of opportunity and execution. White carried an undefeated streak in singles competition for nearly nine-months that saw him defeat some of the top stars the world over. Ospreay cemented his name in the ROH record books with his championship victory in his debut match.

Two of the fastest-rising stars in ROH history will meet in singles competition for the VERY FIRST TIME! These two have competed on opposite ends of tag team battles, including their battle in the high-energy, high-flying international tag team dream match at Supercard of Honor XI. “THE HEAVY METAL REBEL” FRANKIE KAZARIAN vs. HANGMAN PAGE

In early February, at an international television taping, Frankie Kazarian appeared to turn his back on his best friend and long-time tag team partner Christopher Daniels, joining Bullet Club just as Daniels was to get what he described as potentially his last opportunity to capture the ROH World Championship. But, the fix was in and the self-professed “Smartest Men in the Room” earned the title when Kaz emerged and helped turn the tide of the World Championship bout at 15th Anniversary, earning Daniels his first World Singles championship in his 23-year career, 15 years after competing in the main event of the first ever ROH card!

Needless to say, this did not sit well with Bullet Club. And when you have a problem, who better than to send than a Problem Solver.

Hangman Page would viciously attack Kaz in the parking lot while an unnamed Bullet Club member cowardly filmed the attack for the world to see. Kaz would get a measure of revenge, attacking Page during the eight-man Vegas Wildcard Match. But it would be on ROH Television where Page may have landed the biggest blow: interfering with a steel chair, costing Kaz the ROH World Television Championship in a bout against “The Villain” Marty Scurll. The two tangled in six man tag competition at Masters of the Craft but it wasn’t enough to satiate their pallets for each other’s destruction! The two look to settle their differences once and for all, live on Pay Per View!

Officials from NJPW and ROH have been working around the clock to finalize matches for the War of the Worlds Toronto stop. A six man tag team bout has been for War of the Worlds – Toronto featuring a bout between Chaos and one of ROH’s most popular trios!

CHAOS (GEDO & ROPPONGI VICE (BERETTA & ROCKY ROMERO)) vs. DALTON CASTLE & THE BOYS

Roppongi Vice has been on a roll recently, defeating Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara on ROH television and picking up a huge six-man win teaming with YOSHI-HASHI, defeating three members of SUZUKI GUN at Sakura Genesis. In Toronto, they team with the legendary Gedo to take on a trio that has been on hot on the trail of the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championships, Dalton Castle and the Boys!

Dalton Castle is looking to rebound from a tough loss at Supercard of Honor XI in his world title opportunity and he looks to The Boys in this big six man tag team bout! This trio has shown they have the ability to work together but standing in front of them are a team that has three-times won the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championships and the 2016 Super Jr. Tag Team Tournament and one of the greatest tag team wrestlers in the history of Japanese wrestling! Officials from NJPW and ROH have been working around the clock to finalize matches for the War of the Worlds Pay Per View, emanating from the sold out Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom! It will be broadcast LIVE on Pay Per View, the FiteTV App, Playstation Network, and ROHWrestling.com, Friday May 12 with a 9 PM EST bell time! A Four Corner Survival match has been signed and the winner will put themselves immediately into title contention!

FOUR CORNER SURVIVAL MATCH
KUSHIDA vs. DALTON CASTLE w/THE BOYS vs. BOBBY FISH vs. SILAS YOUNG

Four of the top stars in the world will do battle in a Four Corner Survival Match in Manhattan! At Supercard of Honor, we saw Silas Young interrupt Bobby Fish as Fish took the microphone and came to the ring to address rumors surrounding his contract. The issue between these two has risen to a boil, evident by how quickly things escalated in Lakeland! Fish is looking to get back into the ROH World Title picture while Young feels overlooked and is looking to make a statement, sticking his nose into the business of all of the top ROH stars!

Meanwhile, Dalton Castle looks to rebound from his loss at Supercard of Honor where he came within milliseconds of defeating “Almighty” Christopher Daniels for the ROH World Championship! Castle is looking to return to the winning ways that propelled him into championship contention and a pinfall on any of the men involved in this match will certainly do that. Castle has history with Fish, including a ROH World Television Championship bout at Best in the World 2016 and will face one another at War of the Worlds – Dearborn. And the wars between Castle and Young, including a Fight Without Honor, are very well documented.

KUSHIDA may be the odds on favorite in this match, however! He earned a victory over Silas Young last year on the War of the Worlds Tour but traded victories with “Pro Wrestling’s Last Real Man” in tag team action on this year’s Honor Rising Tour. And KUSHIDA has faced Bobby Fish in Best of the Super Juniors tournament action as well as in tag team action with the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team titles on the line to mixed success. And in their only in-ring interaction, KUSHIDA defeated Dalton Castle at last year’s Field of Honor! The four-time IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion is looking to make an impact and enters the match with perhaps the biggest psychological advantage of the four competitors!
