Vince sent Hogan to WCW to wreck the company from the inside. When WCW was still going a few years later, Vince came up with the idea for Hogan's heel turn. When the plan backfired and the nWo became hugely successful, Hogan cut ties w/ WWF and went into business for himself. McMahon began sending a series of "double agents" (guys who were still secretly on the WWF payroll) to finish the job that Hogan started, most notably one Vincent Russo. McMahon eventually succeeded in using his business savvy to influence some of the key players in the Time-Warner/AOL merger by way of subtle insider lobbyists. This covert cloak-and-dagger operation consumed Vince's life for the better part of a decade. Once WWE finally won the war, the Central Intelligence Agency approached him about using his long-term "real-life-kayfabe" tactics (as they referred to it) to track down noted terrorist Osama Bin Laden from within his own ranks. After several years, "Operation Slow Burn" succeeded in it's mission thanks to the intricate planning and genius of VKM. Along the way, Shane McMahon tragically lost his life in an underground arms deal gone bad. He was replaced with a look-a-like who studied every Shane-o-Mac mannerism for months before finally making his first public appearance. Nobody ever suspected anything. This info was of course highly classified and had to be kept secret from everyone... Even Shane's own mother.
He's not the real Vince. The real Vince died in that limo explosion.
That HHH is his illegitimate son. So him and Steph are actually brother and sister.
- Which makes Hornswoggle Tyrion.

John Cena is a genetic clone of Vince McMahon, created in a laboratory. He was the first and last attempt, and thus The Prototype.
"I was running TNA the whole time! We only made it that bad so WWE would seem competent in comparison."
