Ric Flair Hospitalized … Manager Claims It’s Due To ‘Routine Monitoring’
Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Ric Flair was hospitalized this morning for heart-related issues … however, his rep claims it was due to “routine monitoring.”
Sources told us this morning that Flair was taken to an ICU after being admitted by his family, but we were unable to verify with his management team.
However, a rep for the 68-year old has now released a statement on social media saying, “Yes, Ric is checked into a hospital for some routine monitoring. No, there is no reason to panic.”
Adding, “Yes, we’d like to thank his fiancé & the incredible hospital staff who are providing the best care. No, we cannot answer any personal questions. Yes, Ric would want you to go out and have a great weekend … Nature Boy style!”
We’ll keep you updated if there are any more official updates.

ZitatAlles anzeigenWWE Rumor Mill: Enzo Amore possibly turning heel at SummerSlam
The Bonafide Stud may shock the WWE Universe at SummerSlam.
As noted in a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Live, Enzo Amore will be the first babyface Superstar in WWE history to be locked inside a shark cage and suspended above the ring.
The Observer’s Bryan Alvarez asserted that the WWE’s decision to put a Superstar, in this case, Enzo Amore -- one of the most over babyfaces in the company today -- inside the shark cage, would, in fact, be a first in the company’s history.
Traditionally, only heels have been booked in the aforementioned spot, hence WWE booking Amore for that very spot may likely be a sign that they may turn him heel at the upcoming Cass vs Big Show ‘Shark Cage Match’ at SummerSlam.
Big Cass turning heel and feuding with his partner Enzo Amore has been one of the most prominent storylines in the WWE over the past few weeks.
However, in recent weeks, the Big Show has also been added to the ongoing Enzo-Cass saga, which in turn culminated in the WWE booking Cass vs Big Show in a match at SummerSlam, with Enzo locked up in a shark cage and suspended above the ring.
With Big Show and Big Cass set to face each other, The Observer noted that Enzo Amore is likely to drop a foreign object from the shark cage, with this object likely ending up with and helping Cass rather than Big Show.
This, in turn, could possibly lead to Enzo costing Big Show the match and turning heel in the days to come.
Furthermore, yet another detail that was noted is the WWE likely turning Enzo heel and orchestrating a shock reunification with his former friend Cass.
Big Show vs Big Cass (with Enzo Amore suspended in a shark cage) is set to go down at WWE’s SummerSlam PPV on August 20th.
Well, heel turn or not, let's seriously hope the WWE doesn’t make the mistake of sending Enzo back to NXT or demote him to 205 Live.

ZitatAlles anzeigenJason Jordan may turn heel in the future
Will Jason Jordan get the rub from Kurt Angle
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a backup plan for Jason Jordan to turn heel in case the storyline with Kurt Angle does not work out for him.
There was a storyline building up for a while over Kurt Angle receiving mystery texts. Angle said that the reveal could "ruin his life", yet conveniently decided that he would tell the public. The reveal, as we all know, resulted in Jason Jordan being the storyline illegitimate son of Kurt Angle. How that could possibly "ruin" Angle's life, we don't know. It seems like a big plot hole in the entire thing. However, Jason Jordan is now a member of the RAW roster, picking up a few wins and now feuding with The Miz. However, the fan reaction hasn't been as expected; he's been getting booed quite a bit and doesn't have the mic skills or experience yet to deal with it and turn the crowd around.
On the latest episode of RAW, Jordan faced an enhancement talent from Quebec City. According to Meltzer, the backstage belief was that the Toronto crowd would boo the enhancement talent because he was from Quebec. However, things backfired as the Quebec City native received chants of "Let's go jobber", while Jordan was booed.
Meltzer stated that if the storyline doesn't work out favourably for Jordan, then there's a good possibility that he will turn on Kurt Angle.
Another possibility is that Jordan reveals that he made up the entire thing about being Angle's son and that Angle and the fans were stupid enough to believe it.
Apparently, the internal belief is that the fans don't fully buy into the storyline but at the same time don't care enough to detest it.
This is a natural alternative and would be huge for Jordan if he were able to turn on Angle. However, that is yet to be determined. Since Jordan is essentially learning on the job with the big spotlight on him for the first time, he may pick up quicker than people think and the fans may warm up to him. In that case, it won't really be necessary for him to turn on Angle (unless WWE decides to do a Survivor Series 1998 and swerve the people).
Jason Jordan will continue his fresh singles run on the main roster and try to get over with the backing of the company. Hopefully, it works out for the up and coming talent. He is expected to face The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship at Summerslam on August 20, 2017.
Although it's too early to judge, a heel turn would be a great idea as turning on Kurt Angle would lead to major heat for Jordan. The former NXT Tag Team Champion has a huge ceiling, and the cream will always rise to the top. Jordan should and most probably will be fine in the long run with the backing of the company.
