Johnny Fairplay, der lange Zeit sehr hoch bei Total Monstop Action Wrestling im Kurs stand, äußerte sich in einem Interview auf der Rolling Stones Website nun über TNA und ROH. Dabei gibt er auch bekannt, warum er zuletzt doch nicht mehr bei TNA auftrat. Auch erste Pläne, die damals fest geplant waren, gibt er dabei bekannt. Unter Anderem sollte er mit Bob Zmuda's Intergender Championship Gimmick gegen diverse Knockouts antreten. Ein interessantes Zitat, in welchem er darauf antwortet, warum es nie dazu kam, gibt es anbei:
"That's one of the greatest mysterious in wrestling. I thought it was a no brainer, especially with the support of Zmuda."
Auch spricht Fairplay sehr offen über Ring Of Honor und bestätigt ein weiteres Mal, dass er bei der Show im Hammerstein Ballroom am 10. Mai 2008 in New York City, New York, USA anwesend sein wird. Folgendes Zitat bestätigt dies:
"I'm going to be at the Ring of Honor show at the Hammerstein Ballroom. I'm going to visit my good friends Larry Sweeny and Chris Hero."
Auch über den Austragungsort der Show gibt Fairplay einen Kommentar, verbunden mit einer Randbemerkung zu Nigel McGuinness, ab:
"New York is my second favorite city, so we'll go out the night before, do the town big, maybe talk about some of our exploits in the ring. And the champion, Nigel McGuinness, gave me a concussion the last time I was there, but I've been guaranteed that won't happen again. I think we'll be on the same page this time."
