Bei der gestrigen Show von CHIKARA wurde es bekannt gegeben und mittlerweile gibt es auch eine Presseerklärung zur Zusammenarbeit von CHIKARA und Dragon Gate. Diese Zusammenarbeit beginnt schon mit der ersten Show am 25. Juli in der Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bei dieser Show wird CHIKARA ein 8 Man Tag Team Match mit den besten Wrestlern der Liga präsentieren. Die Partnerschaft der beiden Ligen wird als natürliche Allianz beschrieben und wenn man bedenkt, dass sowohl CHIKARA-Gründer Mike Quackenbush als auch Dragon-Gate-Ace CIMA von Skayde trainiert wurden und in beiden Ligen klare Einflusse des Lucha Libre zu erkennen sind, kann man dem nur zustimmen.

Wenn man sich an die letzten Blogs von Gabe Sapolsky seit seinem Abgang von Ring of Honor erinnert, dann kommt diese Meldung nicht wirklich überraschend. Schließlich hat Gabe in den vergangenen Monaten immer wieder die Shows von CHIKARA gelobt und vom King of Trios Tournament förmlich geschwärmt.
