Tough Enough - Staffel 5 (Episode 10 ausgestrahlt: Sieger steht fest)

    Das klingt rein grundsätzlich nach einer großartigen Idee.


    Allerdings werden einige RoH Fans jetzt wohl aufschreien, da es zweifelhaft ist, was die WWE aus einigen der Roh Worker machen könnte.


    Eine solche Maßnahme könnte die Qualität von ToughEnough aber enorm steigern. (Und vielleicht auch das Wrestling in der WWE wieder
    sehenswerter machen)


    In Verbindung mit Regal als Trainer, wäre es wohl mit Abstand die beste Talent/Newcomer Show die WWE jemals produziert hätte.

    Die WWE war ja in der Vergangenheit schon an einigen RoH-Wrestlern interessiert. Ich denke, dass es für "Tough Enough" ziemlich gut wäre, wenn RoH-Wrestler mitmischen würden. Und für die Stars von Ring of Honor wäre es eine große Chance, sich auf einer größeren Bühne zu beweisen. Wir werden ja sehen, wer schlussendlich bei "Tough Enough" dabei sein wird.

    Wie der PWInsider berichtet, soll laut einem Bericht der "Entertainment Weekly" der WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin als Moderator der neuen Staffel von WWE Tough Enough fungieren.


    Mit Steve Austin als Moderator erhofft sich World Wrestling Entertainment erhöhtes Zuschauerinteresse und Aufmerksamkeit für die Rückkehr des TV-Formats.


    Bekanntlich beginnt die neue Staffel von WWE Tough Enough am Montag, den 04. April 2011 - einen Tag nach WrestleMania XXVII.


    Inzwischen hat auch World Wrestling Entertainment Stone Cold Steve Austin in einer offiziellen Pressemitteilung als Moderator für WWE Tough Enough bestätigt:


    NEW YORK CITY - USA Network and WWE announced that WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will host USA Network's upcoming reality series "WWE Tough Enough." The non-scripted series will premiere Monday, April 4 at 11/10 CT, immediately following USA's ratings juggernaut WWE Monday Night Raw, and move to its regularly scheduled slot in primetime, Mondays at 8/7 CT, starting on April 11.


    "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has captivated audiences around the world with his magnetic presence and bold, yet charming nature. Austin has done it all in sports-entertainment, winning 17 championships, including the WWE Championship six times. He has an immense and incredibly devoted fan base, and is considered one of the most popular WWE Superstars of all time. Austin was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.


    "I am very excited about the opportunity to work with my old friends at WWE on 'WWE Tough Enough.' Sports-entertainment has always been an important part of my life, and I look forward to finding the next generation of WWE Superstar," said Austin.

    HELL YEAH!!!!!!! Das ist meiner Meinung nach sehr überraschend. Ich dachte, er arbeitet wieder an einem Film, womit Steve Austin eigentlich nicht mal bei Wrestlemania auftreten könnte. Doch das hört sich doch gut an, dass er einer der Mentoren ein WWE Hall of Famer ist. Zudem man so Publicity für Tough Enough durch die Ankündigung machen konnte. Ob sich dadurch das Rating im 2.0-3.0 aufhalten wird, ist eine andere Frage, aber das sollte man erstmal abwarten, denn momentan laufen die Prozesse bis Tough Enough ja noch und zwischendurch gibt es ja noch WWE NXT Season 4.

    Bei der aktuellen Friday Night SmackDown! Episode wurde Booker T offiziell als einer der Trainer für die neue Staffel von WWE Tough Enough enthüllt.


    Die neue Staffel von WWE Tough Enough startet am Montag, den 04. April 2011 direkt im Anschluß an Monday Night RAW. Moderator der Show wird bekanntlich Stone Cold Steve Austin sein.

    Ich bin wirklich mal gespannt wie die Show wird denn als die ersten 3 Staffeln ausgestrahlt wurde habe ich noch kein Wrestling geguckt womit diese Staffel meine erste werden wird.Was ist bisher gehört hab klingt richtig denn mit "Stone Cold" als Moderator und dann noch Booker T als Trainer hat man sich gleich 2 richtig gute Leute geholt und man kann gespannt sein wer noch kommt.Steht eigentlich schon fest ob und wo die Show in Deutschland gezeigt wird?

    Stone Cold Steve Austin hat nun via Twitter bestätigt, dass am Montag, den 14. Februar 2011 die Dreharbeiten zur neuen Staffel von WWE Tough Enough in Kalifornien begonnen haben:

    Das USA Network hat nun in einer offiziellen Pressemitteilung bestätigt, dass Miss USA Rima Fakih eine der Kandidatinnen der neuen Staffel von WWE Tough Enough ist:

    Laut dem Wrestling Observer Newsletter wird World Wrestling Entertainment in den nächsten sieben Wochen die neue Staffel von WWE Tough Enough abfilmen, sodass die Dreharbeiten gegen Ende März abgeschlossen sind. Bekanntlich begannen die Dreharbeiten zur neuen Staffel am Montag, den 14. Februar 2011.


    Weiter wird berichtet, dass fast alle Teilnehmer & Teilnehmerinnen der neuen Staffel, die derzeit gemeinsam in einem Haus in Simi Valley, California wohnen, Erfahrungen aus dem Independent-Wrestling Bereich besitzen.

    Der Wrestling Observer Newsletter veröffentlichte nun die Namen einiger Independent-Wrestler, die zwar in die engere Auswahl für die neue Staffel von WWE Tough Enough kamen, jedoch letztendlich bei der finalen Auswahl scheiterten. Die Namen lauten wie folgt: Austin Aries, Mercedes Martinez, Joey Ryan, Brittney Savage und JD Maverick.


    Die finalen Teilnehmer an der neuen Staffel von WWE Tough Enough sind derzeit noch immer unbekannt. Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih ist bislang die einzige Teilnehmerin, die für die neue Staffel von WWE Tough Enough offiziell bestätigt wurde.

    Wie Dave Meltzer vom Wrestling Observer gestern auf f4wonline.com berichtet, soll World Wrestling Entertainment keinerlei Einfluss auf das Auswahlverfahren der Kandidaten für WWE Tough Enough haben.


    Die volle Kontrolle in Sachen "Casting" liegt beim USA Network und der Produktionsfirma Shed Media Us. Das Ziel des Castings soll gewesen sein, Models für die Reality-Show zu verpflichten.

    Nachdem World Wrestling Entertainment bereits Stone Cold Steve Austin als Moderator und Booker T als Trainer für die neue Staffel von WWE Tough Enough ankündigte, bestätigte man nun während dem WWE Elimination Chamber 2011 Pay-Per-View, dass die ehemalige WWE Women's Championesse Trish Stratus als Trainerin in der neuen Staffel von WWE Tough Enough fungieren wird.

    f4wonline verkündete nun, dass laut aktuellen Gerüchten Bill DeMott, welcher als Hugh Morris oder Captain Rection besser bekannt ist, ebenfalls als Trainer an der neuen Staffel von WWE Tough Enough mitwirken wird. DeMott war bereits vor einigen Jahren in der dritten Staffel von WWE Tough Enough als Trainer tätig.


    Im wöchentlichen Wechsel wird ein aktueller WWE Superstar die Kandidaten von Tough Enough besuchen und mit ihnen zusammenarbeiten.


    Neben Bill DeMott werden bekanntlich auch Booker T und Trish Stratus als Trainer der Kandidaten von Tough Enough fungieren, während Steve Austin als Moderator die Show leiten wird.
