- Wie interne WWE Quellen berichten, soll The Undertaker angeblich seine aktive Wrestlingkarriere grundsätzlich beendet haben und sich derzeit im Ruhestand befinden. Laut dem Wrestling Observer Newsletter soll sich The Undertaker körperlich in deutlich schlechterer Verfassung befinden, als man die Öffentlichtkeit wissen lässt. Trotzdem soll ein weiteres Match von The Undertaker bei der nächsten WrestleMania nicht gänzlich ausgeschlossen sein, da man glaubt, dass The Undertaker zumindestens noch ein allerletztes Match bei WrestleMania XXVIII bestreiten wird, bevor er sich endgültig in den Ruhestand verabschiedet. Daher wird erwartet, dass er zwar nicht mehr vor WrestleMania XXVIII aktiv in einen Ring zurückkehren wird, jedoch dort, laut Aussagen seiner Freunde, noch das 20:0 seiner WrestleMania Winning Streak vollmachen wird und anschließend seine Karriere beendet.
- Wie WrestleZone berichtet, soll Randy Orton, laut internen WWE Quellen, auf dem besten Weg sein, die Rolle von The Undertaker als Schlüsselfigur und Anführer des SmackDown! Lockerrooms einzunehmen. Laut den WWE Quellen soll Randy Orton seinen Wechsel von RAW zu SmackDown! zunächst als Abstufung gesehen haben, bevor er es als große Chance gesehen hat, um aus dem Schatten von John Cena an die Top Position der WWE zu treten und der unumstrittene Anführer des SmackDown! Lockerrooms zu werden.
- Chris Jericho hat IGN.com gestern ein Interview gegeben und sich darin zu einer möglichen Rückkehr zu WWE wie folgt geäußert: "I don't want to go back and do the same thing. And do the same character I was doing last time. You constantly have to reinvent yourself. It's kind of a strange analogy but I think you'll pick it up when I say it - I always consider myself to be the Madonna of wrestling. And what I mean by that is 'constantly re-inventing yourself.' Every album Madonna does, she morphs into new styles of music and new looks. And when you work for the WWE, you work 52 weeks out of the year and on TV every week. You can't look the same or act the same every week. It gets boring. And I think that's why I've had such longevity as a performer and was always the guy to watch because people wanted to see what I did next. I even did that on Dancing with the Stars. And you have to do that or else you become predictable. And that's the worst thing you can become when you're in show business."
