Contact Music reports that The Rock recently sold his mansion in Miami for $3 million but had to accept $500,000 less than the asking price. Rock also recently sold his Beverly Hills estate in California for $4.9 million, which came with a private barber shop and a spa.
ZitatThe reason WWE released Percy Watson a few weeks back is because of the feeling that his attitude changed when he was taken off the road as a RAW roster member. Watson was recognized as one of the most athletic guys in the company but kept missing practices.

Channel 24 out of South Africa has a new Q&A online with Dolph Ziggler to promote WWE’s upcoming live event tour of the country that was conducted on June 13, 2013. In it, Ziggler admits the World Heavyweight Championship doesn’t have the same interest and prestige it did when Triple H held it.
Below is how Ziggler answered the question:
"Honestly, no, I don’t think so. Here’s the deal. As a titleholder of a championship, you are the representatives of the company. You are the champion, you are the face of either Raw or Smackdown, and for some reason in the past couple of years the WHC has gone down in value from the fans’ standpoint and perhaps from an administrative standpoint. As we understand it the WWE Championship is the title of Monday Night Raw and that is the flagship of WWE. But my goal, every single time I’ve touched anything, I found a way to bring prestige back to something that used to be a stepping stone. To me, the WHC is one of the biggest prizes in the game of all time, because I grew up as a huge fan of it. So now, my goal is to have this become the premiere title in sports entertainment. Whether that can happen, I don’t know, but I am just getting started. I’m a couple weeks into it, and I promise if it has anything to do with me, then it will become the prize that it was."

News-Journalonline.com has an interview with Wade Barrett about Saturday's live event in Daytona Beach. During the interview, Barrett was asked which wrestler to watch out for in the next 10 years.
"Bray Wyatt (formerly known as Husky Harris) is going to be a big deal with the Wyatt Family. They are very strange and very creepy. He's going to be a big star.
There's an English guy named Adrian Neville. He's an incredible athlete and a very high-flyer. He's in the mold of a Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. I think he might be the most athletic guy I've ever seen.
Bo Dallas has a lot of potential. He made the mistake of attacking me, though. He needs some maturation."

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was recently interviewed by Gerry Strauss of The Layfield report. Here are some highlights:
Divas she keeps in touch with: "So I always speak to Nattie all the time, just continuing to encourage her. When she was doing the farting gimmick, I just told her that I know sometimes you feel like "why am I doing this?", but know that everything happens for a reason, and maybe they'll show a different side of her personality and try to use it somehow. It's nice to keep in touch with these girls."
Who should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame: "Well, I think an obvious one is Luna Vachon. I know that if I was to look at who would I think would be going in this year before I got the call, who would I pick as a female? Luna Vachon for sure. Hopefully one day, 'Macho Man' will be inducted and I'm sure that would mean Miss Elizabeth would be... those are two super important people within the industry. And from my era? Gosh I wouldn't be surprised if every single one of them got in. I mean you know they all deserve it.
"The work that I'm being recognized for, so to speak, is the work that we all did. It wasn't just me. It was the storylines we created, and it was the groundbreaking matches. It was the way we perceived women's wrestling as a whole. It wasn't just me'it was all of us. I'm talking about everyone from Jacqueline to Ivory to Lita to Molly Holly to Mickie James to Victoria... those were the girls. We were the ones who busted our butts and tried to really change the way women's wrestling was perceived... so, to me, any one of those women easily fit the bill."

The July 2013 issue of WWE Magazine has a feature titled “The Scars of the Superstars” featuring WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose. Below is an excerpt:
Dean Ambrose
“The big one that runs up and down my back I received in a ‘Barbwire Death Match’ in Germany back around 2009. I was facing a known independent rival of mine. We needed up so tangled in the barbed wire that it was in my hair, in my face and my arm was wrapped up in it – basically my whole body was lodged in there with him. Think Terry Funk and Sabu from 1994. At one point we were tangled like two chickens, so much so that it took two or three guys with wire-cutters about 10 minutes to get both of us out. I like the scar, though. It looks cool even though people never really get to see it. There are always emergency guys on call for matches like that one, and they just stitched me right up. But you wake up the next day in the hotel room, and the bed looks like a crime scene, and your T-shirt is stuck to your back because you’re covered in dried plasma. My next match was the very next day: It was just a weekend tour, you know, nothing too crazy.”ZitatSteve Austin told the folks over at LAW that he “loved every second” of Mark Henry’s “retirement speech” from last week’s WWE Monday Night Raw. He did admit, however, that anyone that’s been around the business saw that coming a mile away.
ZitatIn the July 2013 issue of WWE Magazine, Jack Swaggger reveals how he celebrated his first World Heavyweight Championship win at the March 30, 2010 Smackdown taping in Las Vegas, Nevada a few years ago. Below is an excerpt:
"After I cashed in the Money In The Bank briefcase, I was in Vegas with my now-wife. And I remember walking through the Venetian hotel in Vegas with the World Heavyweight Championship on my shoulder. And later that night, I pulled out a ring and proposed to her that night in our room. I thought it was cool, and I wanted to share that moment with her. It was a very good week for me."
The match, against Chris Jericho, aired on the April 2, 2010 episode of WWE Smackdown.
