ZitatAlles anzeigenAs the WWE Universe witnessed Monday night on Raw, The Wyatt Family has arrived. No one is more aware of this fact — and the repercussions of their arrival — than Kane, who was targeted as The Wyatts' first victim. Interrupting Kane’s match against Christian, the duo of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper attacked, viciously assaulting Kane with the steel ring steps.
Following the ambush, Kane is now doubtful to compete in the Money in the Bank All-Stars Ladder Match, sources told WWE.com Tuesday afternoon.
The Wyatt Family has left no doubts about their staying power by potentially taking one of WWE's most iconic Superstars out of the Money in the Bank All-Stars Match just days before the much-anticipated pay-per-view contest. Countless competitors have crossed paths with the 11-time Tag Team Champion, but few have been able to keep The Big Red Monster down for any prolonged period of time.
Earlier Tuesday, WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann provided WWE.com with an update on Kane’s condition.
“Due to the head and neck trauma suffered by Kane, we precautiously immobilized his cervical spine with a cervical collar. He’s been transported to a local trauma facility and is currently undergoing further evaluation.”
Kane was carted off on a stretcher and taken to a local medical facility after the attack.
“After [Kane] was put into the ambulance, he was coherent; he was speaking to us and following simple commands. The biggest concern that we have is any sort of brain or cervical spine trauma that may be significant enough to either warrant surgery, or an extended period of time away from the ring.”
