ROH „15th Anniversary Show“ (10.03.2017 – Las Vegas, Nevada): ROH World Tag Team Championship Vegas Street Fight offiziell bestätigt

One of the men that competed in the main event of the very first ROH card 15 years ago, “Almighty” Christopher Daniels, looks to fulfill his destiny and capture the ROH World Championship for the first time in his career. Daniels, who earned this opportunity by winning the Decade of Excellence Tournament, will face the winner of Bobby Fish and current champion Adam Cole, who meet at Manhattan Mayhem!

The ROH Board of Directors and Executive Committee have pledged that all championships will be on the line at Sam’s Town Live! in Las Vegas! And they have signed a grudge match fitting for the bright lights of Sin City… and the ROH World Tag Team Titles are on the line!

Very few teams possess the credentials that Beretta and Rocky Romero have amassed since the inception of Roppongi Vice in the Spring of 2015. The reigning IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions have used textbook tag team wrestling combinations mixed with innovative offensive to rack up victories in New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Ring of Honor. But since forming, the team representing CHAOS has had a target locked on them by two members of Bullet Club, The Young Bucks!

The Bucks and RPG Vice have engaged in memorable battles on both sides of the Pacific, both in two-on-two tag team action but also in the ongoing battles between Bullet Club and CHAOS. Most recently, RPG Vice scored a victory over the Bucks at the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Kingdom 11 to capture the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.

With the latest win in this saga between two of the best teams in the world, RPG Vice wants an opportunity to challenge for a pair of championships that weren’t on the line that night in Tokyo, the ROH World Tag Team titles, in a match in which the two teams have never competed, a Vegas Street Fight!

Within hours of issuing the challenge via Ring of Honor social media, the Young Bucks accepted! On a roll in ROH, the Young Bucks have momentum on their side, having racked up victories against teams of all stature, from the Tempura Boyz in Atlanta, to battles against the Briscoes in Dallas and War Machine in Columbus. Each night, the Bucks found a way to retain, but will their impressive schedule of defenses catch up to them in Vegas? The Bucks will have to get past Lio Rush and Jay White at Manhattan Mayhem before heading to Vegas with the gold. And with their minds very much on the dream match against the Hardy Boyz at Supercard of Honor, will the Bucks be mentally at their best against one of the best teams in the world and one of the world’s most dangerous matches?
