ROH „15th Anniversary Show“ (10.03.2017 – Las Vegas, Nevada): ROH World Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Vegas Street Fight offiziell bestätigt

One of the men that competed in the main event of the very first ROH card 15 years ago, “Almighty” Christopher Daniels, looks to fulfill his destiny and capture the ROH World Championship for the first time in his career. Daniels, who earned this opportunity by winning the Decade of Excellence Tournament, will face ROH World Champion Adam Cole!

Matt and Jeff Hardy shocked the world at Manhattan Mayhem VI, appearing unannounced, defeating the Young Bucks for the ROH World Tag Team Titles! The ROH Board of Directors and Executive Committee were left scrambling following the result – Roppongi Vice had already signed to face the Young Bucks in a Vegas Street Fight with the titles on the line. What would happen? Would the titles be defended in Sin City?

Last-minute negotiations have produced a match that pleases all three teams AND gives the fans a never before seen bout!

The lights went down in the Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom and the crowd came to a hush. When the lights rose, Matt and Jeff Hardy stood in the center of the ring, shocking the wrestling world! An impromptu challenge led to two of the most decorated teams in wrestling history standing across the ring in a history-making bout with the ROH World Tag Team titles on the line.

The Hardys defeated the Young Bucks following a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb and the ROH Board of Directors upheld the decision! The result threw chaos into the signed bout for 15th Anniversary!

Roppongi Vice were to take on the Young Bucks in a Vegas Street Fight, challenging them for the ROH World Tag Team Titles. Beretta and Rocky Romero felt like they had the Bucks number, defeating them for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles at WrestleKingdom. With new champions crowned, RPG Vice and fans around the globe wondered if the tag team titles would be defended.

Following around the clock discussions and deliberations, the Hardys have agreed to defend their newly-won ROH World Tag Team Championships at 15th Anniversary, inserting themselves into the Vegas Street Fight, making it a triple threat!

Beretta and Romero were confident heading into their title opportunity but now the landscape has changed. Instead of just the Young Bucks, RPG Vice now has both the Bucks and one of not only the hottest teams in wrestling but also one of the greatest teams of all-time standing across the ring from them in Vegas!

But will the match be contained to the ring? Who has the advantage of the match goes to the outside or perhaps out on to the Vegas Strip?! The Young Bucks won Ladder War VI and have a Philly Street Fight victory under their belts, while the Hardys are legendary in environments with ladders, chairs, and tables. RPG Vice may be the wild card and look to win the ROH World Tag Team gold for the first time in Vegas!
