Bill Goldberg über ein mögliches In-Ring-Comeback und seine Dankbarkeit für Vince McMahon & Brock Lesnar

Der zukünftige WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg stand kürzlich der US-Tageszeitung „Washington Post“ in einem Telefon-Interview Rede und Antwort.

Natürlich ging es unter anderem darum, ob die Möglichkeit über eine Rückkehr in den Ring bestünde. Der ehemalige WCW World Heavyweight und WWE Universal Champion antwortete darauf:

„Do I want to roll the dice again? I don’t know! I’ll quote one of the most famous movies that I was ever in (Santa’s Slay): It ain’t over ‘til I say it’s over!“

Weiter dankte der 51-Jährige dem amtierenden Universal Champion Brock Lesnar und WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon für sein Comeback im Jahr 2016:

„The angle was real and it was touching and it was true. I kind of left it all out there. It was a cleansing experience. I owe it all to Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar. They gave me the opportunity to be one of the coolest dads in the world and they didn’t have to do that.“

Am 06.04.2018 ist Bill Goldberg bekanntlich der Headliner für die diesjährigen „Hall of Fame“ Class im Smoothie King Center von New Orleans. Neben ihm werden Jeff Jarrett, Mark Henry, die Dudley Boyz, Ivory und Hillibilly Jim in die Ruhmeshalle eingeführt. Auch hierfür spricht er nochmal seinen Dank aus:

„Thankfully for the people that didn’t forget about me, they welcomed me with open arms!“
