CM Punk nicht im 30-Man Royal Rumble Match / CM Punk über Beth Phoenix: „Meine Ex ist eine Idiotin!“ / Tommy Dreamer bewahrte CM Punk zweimal vor Entlassung bei WWE

– WWE Champion CM Punk hat nun in einem Interview mit MMAFighting.com verkündet, dass er nicht am 30-Man Royal Rumble Match beim Royal Rumble 2012 teilnehmen wird und stattdessen mit dem WWE Championship Match ein noch viel besseres Match als der Rumble selbst, mit Dolph Ziggler auf die Beine stellen möchte.

– In einem weiteren Interview mit der „Holberg’s Morning Circus Radio Show“ sprach WWE Champion CM Punk nun über das Ende seiner Liebesbeziehung zur WWE Divas Championesse Beth Phoenix, welche im August 2011 erfolgte. Auf die Frage, ob CM Punk über das Aus der Beziehung sehr wütend sei, bezeichnete er Beth Phoenix als eine Idiotin, ohne sie dabei namentlich zu erwähnen: „No, it doesn’t hurt at all. It pisses me off to watch people you love and admire become complete douchebags… People just flake. I guess I realized that it doesn’t matter who it was as long as someone was her boyfriend.“

– Tommy Dreamer hat nun in einem Interview mit Radar-Online.com verkündet, dass er CM Punk zweimal vor der Entlassung bei WWE gerettet hat: “He [CM Punk] had little-to-no chance of ever making it in the WWE — he wasn’t their type of guy. I saved his job two times when he was about to be let go — I was saying, ‘Ya gotta keep this kid, ya gotta keep this kid.“
