Kevin Nash: „Eddie Guerrero & Chris Benoit haben das Wrestlingbusiness zerstört – Punk & Bryan sind Witzfiguren und keine Main Eventer!“ / Tom LaRuffa unterzeichnet Vertrag

– Kevin Nash hat sich in einem Interview mit Grantland.com sehr negativ über Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, CM Punk und Daniel Bryan geäußert und gesagt, dass alle vier Leute keine Main Eventer wären und demnach auch nicht ins Main Event gehör(t)en. Weiter meinte Kevin Nash frustriert, dass Eddie Guerrero & Chris Benoit damals mit ihrer Umarmung bei WrestleMania XX das gesamte Wrestlingbusiness „getötet“ haben und CM Punk & Daniel Bryan heutzutage, wie auch schon damals Eddie Guerrero & Chris Benoit, Witzfiguren und keine Main Eventer wären, da man sie am Flughafen nicht erkennen würde, weil sie keinen Superstar-Look und nicht das gewisse „Etwas“ hätten, was sie von anderen Superstars unterscheiden würden. Hier ein kleiner Auszug aus dem Interview: „When Benoit and Guerrero hugged [at the end of WrestleMania XX], that was the end of the business. Has business been the same since that WrestleMania? Has it come close to the Austin era? Has it come close to the nWo or the Hogan era? You put two fucking guys that were great workers that were the same height as the fucking referees, and I’m sorry, man. Are you going to watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick? Even if you’re not gay, you will not watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick. That’s not the standard in porno films. So you put a 5-foot-7 guy as your world champion. They are not bigger than life. I bet they could both walk through airports and not be noticed unless they have a gimmick shirt on and the belt.“

– Der französische Wrestler „The French Stallion“ Tom LaRuffa hat nun via Facebook verkündet, dass er einen Entwicklungsvertrag bei WWE unterzeichnet hat. Tom LaRuffa gilt als einer der Top-Wrestler in Europa und wurde von Lance Storm in der Storm Wrestling Academy ausgebildet.
