Nachdem John Cena am Ende der dieswöchigen RAW Episode dafür sorgte, dass Ryback bei WWE Hell In A Cell 2012 in einem WWE Championship Hell In A Cell Match auf CM Punk treffen wird, spekuliert man nun auf WWE.com in einem Artikel, ob John Cena mit dieser Aktion die Fackel an den Newcomer weitergereicht hat:

„Ryback, who has been nothing short of a force of nature since his arrival in April, now carries the weight of the WWE Universe on his broad shoulders. Handed to him by Cena — a 10-time WWE Champion — Ryback also carries with him the hopes and dreams of an entire locker room.
